I've lived in this area for over 30 years and have seen it grow from a quiet downtown with two-lane highways to an area that is now trying to keep its infrastructure growth on pace with the high demand of home buyers in this area.
10 minutes from Lake Texoma, 30 minutes from a world-class casino - Choctaw Casino and Resort, an hour from Dallas, a massive lagoon being built, and over 4,500 jobs coming to this area for the semiconductor industry alone. If you regretted not purchasing a home in McKinney before it grew to what it is today, consider Sherman as we are quickly on our way to become the next go-to Dallas suburb.
