Fortnite needs to fix the cheating problem before they have zb fncs. In every tourney with money pretty much more than half the players that earn money are cheating in some form (dma, zen, teaming, ect...)

I think that having duos as the main game mode is great for having emerging pros that arent able to find many players around their same skill level, but as of recently there arent many emerging pros and i think that the game becomes stale after a while. I think that solos is alright but ultimately i think they need to bring back trios.

i think your right about this video but i can promise you as someone who has qualified to round 2 3 times it is so unbelievably difficult to qualify from 2000->1000 (im also not just an average player i have been competing for a long time)

for me and my teammate it was like this in the first week we needed a top 15 in the last game to qualify and he got kicked out of the game and I had to play solo and only got a top 26 due to beeing solo and in the second week we placed like top 2028th with only a single point missing to qualify to the top 2000. So we would have loved to play a third week to get another chance

i agree with season one being solos and the spots that were there should not go to the majors it could be given to the most consistent duo throughout the year that didnt make it through the majors this could make duos want to stick together and create great storylines

I miss waking up and comp fortnite being in during the day during the weekends. From someone who watched and played since chapter 1 and chapter 5 has made me play other games it’s not engaging to play a lot nor accessible to watch easily.

Some good ideas. I think you may be right about Epic's priorities - they don't seem to really care that much about competitive. There's a lot of easy things they could do (some of which you mentioned) that they seem to be ignoring completely. So they're either incompetent or they just don't care about the same priorities as the competitive scene.

Will there be a last chance major this season like last chapter?

I want a system where throughout the FNCS Majors (2M prize pool) qualifies you to FNCS Grand Royal (4M prize pool) and if you did well in FNCS Grand Royal, you qualify to Global Champions (8M prize pool)

big question aussie. I took a break during the heist season from chapter 4 so I actually wasnt too familiar with the last chance major. Is it basically just the equivalent of a "Major 4" reworded or am i wrong?

they honestly need to bring back solo fncs, its easy for the pros to find a good duo but it can be really hard for someone getting into competitive to find a duo or someone like me that doesnt really like talking to randoms i hate having to rely on someone and i hate that my fncs can just get sold if my team mate is busy on the day or something i just wish it was solos

I just think the reboot round should be after the normal qualifications happen that way it feels more entertaining. When people don’t win one of those 5 games now it doesn’t matter because they all can still qualify

One of the main problems in my opinion is that ppl qual in 1 week and play second week fully just to grief as they are already guaranteed qual. it ruins it for plenty others.

But the reason about bigger modes requiring teams it’s almost close to impossible finding teammates and then half of them are picky on what device you have ,fps ,etc and I would prefer solos or even bring back mobile solo cup yearly as it’s still possible to compete as a mobile player but it’s like playing to the point of either losing all hope or starting to pick up something on mobile with either good ping or 200 ping , I love competitive but I keep just getting clapped by 0 ping players who always take my walls ,frying my hp when I even know they can’t see me,etc but yeah that’s just my opinion

would you say it is fair to say that certain items/mechanics arent in comp due to Epic not bothering to spend more on better servers? I think NORMAL cars (not modifiable) should be in comp for mobility? (note: yes some items like the fists and rpgs/explosives should not be in comp due to their strength or bad gameplay.... but why was fire removed :/ )

they should do trios for 2025 and a solo event in c6s4 then if they want go back to duos. Causeits been duos 3 straight years and i think a year of mix up is great

tbh I feel this. If Im being honest, the main reason that I don't compete a lot (excluding the fact that I hate the games state rn) is that I hate the pressure of having a duo and letting them down, especially if they take it super serious. If they did a solo fncs I would 100% play them

they do 4 loby for heats top 10 go thruu and if you get top 35 in all heats make 2 lobys that they run 5 rebot runs to see the remaining 10 teams in grands

This is epics biggest chance to make headlines and get everyone back playing. after this season and no one playing maybe epic will realize that they need to bring something big back, I think during OG (or hopefully next season) They will bring back syphon, Bring back arena, Bring back 100% chest spawn rate!

It might be a hot take. I feel like another solo FNCS would be an absolute bore. It also wouldn’t be fun to watch I feel like now, especially the way people play solos. But trio FNCS would be fun, squads is too much though (just look at the squad cash cups).

What i don’t like about trio fncs then duos fncs the trios have to break up and sometimes forcefully

Qualing for global lan in season 1 should be retired from the format. Not only does it restrict fncs from doing solos, trios, or squads per season, but it also vastly changes the way people play. If a duo has already qualed lan, people are less likely to contest them, and even outright avoid them, because the non-qual team has way more to lose. Like what we saw with Peterbot getting the mobility medallion uncon.
