If a family member or relative is better off than I am financially ,, more power to them . I’m happy for them - I’m not envious or jealous; because that’s one family member I don’t need to worry about.
I live alone in my 1800 sq ft home my parents left me . And I love it ! It is so quiet and peaceful. I can do whatever the hell I want. I no longer have to answer to anyone or hear their ridiculous complaints!
I enjoy volunteering in our community hospital and other charities. The sense of accomplishment and self worth make me a better person. In thankfulness.
Some relationships are meaningful and rewarding. In old age it's good to maintain meaningful relationships since one can always discover new and insightful meaning of life from others. Certainly stay away from negative forces as they are infectious and debilitating.
It is important to spend time with oneself, love my quiet time. I limit my friends to a small few friends. And limit my involvement in there personal life. I am enjoying my own company and my husband's companionship

That's how hellacious being young was, born to a violent family, attacked physically & verbally while being told I was loved. I'm entirely unable to pairbond. Curiously I am blessed with friends. I watched the video to the end, it well illuminates the delicacy of human interaction. For any age. I love living in NYC. A misfit can feel at home
What a bunch of BS... I am in my mid seventies now and still work hard out here in the country. Grew up farming until I went off to college. Got my degree and moved back to my hometown. Went to work for a Large Corporation and travelled for years all over the world working for them. It was a great job and I made good money. Our family grew with four children and I was eventually able to quit the travelling and finished my career at home, then retired for good at 62. Love living the farm life now and doing physical labor daily maintaining the farm. It keeps me healthy and feeling younger then my years.
I submit that this is true for all ages. Especially a single person visiting a family. As a single person I appreciated the situation very well. Sometimes it’s ok with your friend but the spouse will certainly tire of constant company. I had a situation where my father would come by my place that I shared with my new bride. Weekends when we both had time off and if home, had better things to do than entertain any bodies parent. It had to be dealt with. Home is a sacred place. Visitors even well meaning ones may be carrying somebody you can’t see. Meet you at the pub. I hear you knocking but you can’t come in😂
People will decide when the video is done whether or not it was worthwhile watching. For the content provider to come out of the gate asking for a thumbs up ($$) prior to the start of the video seems very odd. Why is it you don't want people to make up their own mind on this subject? For me it's a guaranteed no thumbs up because I don't need you to tell me your video is worthwhile - that's our decision not yours. I hope this pracrise comes to an end on youtube but unfortunately I doubt it - in fact it seems to be more commonplace of late. Too bad tho', it's your loss not mine.
