@@UscruOutlaw the eu is non canon. so his date of birth was not canon until the Acolyte. people are upset that stuff we have not known about before is now canon. cortosis is another thing that was not really canon until now. the story line of the Acolyte is far better than the haters made it up to be. the more I think about it, the more I am like "what..... oh shi. this show is actually better than I first thought"

@@UscruOutlaw this is why I am saying all this hate towards the Acolyte is unwarranted. like even when I first saw Yord Fandar in the show I was like he was too stuck up on the rules and so on. then it was pointed out to me that he took years to become a jedi knight. he is in his 20s to 30s when most become a jedi knight before the end of their teens. now it all makes since why he was the way he was. he didn't have a talent for it. he got there base on his own skills. but there there is jecki who's people is all about feelings and emotions. the pride themselves on taking the best of their people and making them even better. but jecki join the jedis which is the opposite of that. she is was just talent but that is the problem because she didn't have an outlet for the rest of her. so what did she do? she trained and trained and trained. she found somewhere she could release herself into and that was battles. she trained in every fighting style she could but that was also her downfall. the siths feeds on emotions and in that battle, all we see is jecki's rage growing and growing. she never trained into control on the battle field.

This show fits with the prequels perfectly imo. The fandom menace had rejected this show before it came out, they have no interest in the nuance behind these story decisions, if it even slightly challenges what we know from the films then they're gonna complain rather than try to understand.

I mean, this show was explicitly stated as a show that would look into sith lore, so I just don’t understand what they’re going for with his inclusion. I could be completely wrong, but his inclusion here just doesn’t make sense
