Losing weight and being on the diet gets easier after a while. It’s maintaining it that’s tough because you get to this place where you start allowing yourself to indulge a bit more, and then after a while you’re back to square one. So that’s why I feel weight loss journeys are basically permanent more so than something to just do for a couple months.
Hi, a physiotherapist here. I'm not an expert in nutrition, that's not my field, but it's somehow related, you know, health, physical activity, etc. After watching this video all I can say is 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. I wouldn't add or remove a single comma.
Started my fitness journey and can I just say YOU ARE My GO TO when I want to learn what something is used for and how it effects my work out because your way of explaining is so detailed and very easy to understand THANK YOU!
Love it and knowledge of how the differect mechanisms in which we burn calories adapt as we diet makes for informed choices to overcome plateus. Totally disagree with the statement "if you have struggled with weight loss in the past, I want you to know... it's not your fault". It 100% is our fault. For 10 years I didn't put the fork down when I should have, adding more and more to my diet. Got to the point I would eat a large McDonald's meal as a snack before dinner. Sure, I was coerced, but it was my choice. Now I'm making better choices and half way to my ideal physique. Blaming our culture is not an excuse I am going to lean on to accept my obesity nor the days my willpower caves and I stray from the plan to better myself.
Enjoy listening to these and chance of a video on getting a losing weight and getting a small waist, got to be one of the most hardest and stubborn places to loose weight
Can this explain why I don’t want to move as much when I’m consuming less? I know that’s intentional movement but I go from enjoying exercise to hating it when I consume less
Guys....it's been more than 25 days since I ordered my 2.5kg whey....You guys are not responding or replying properly anywhere....please can anyone facing the same situation help
Hi Ritchie, Awesome video! Really enjoyed it and found it educational as obesity is absolutely rife in the UK and US! Big thank you for making the video. Cheers, Billy
Had a cerebral hemorrhage. Screwed up my taste buds where nothing tasted good anymore so I ate a lost less. Ate less and lost 50 pounds I did not need to lose in a year. Went from avid mountain biker to pretty inactive but I still lost the weight. 6 foot tall and 130 pounds is too little to weigh so now I need to put it back on.
Wait until you get older, I couldn't gain weight before 15 years old, ow I am 42, whole different ball game now, I easily stay the same weight, but loosing fat is really hard. Metabolism is slower and you tend to enjoy life a bit more with food and drinks. This all in combination with some weight lifting ofcourse
Weight loss tip today: Take a brisk walk before lunch or dinner. Not only will you get in some exercise, you're less likely to choose something unhealthy after a little movement.
I'm 27, q9 stone and 6ft 2 I started my weigh loss journey Friday 17th December 2021, I am currently fone down to one meal a day that consist of fish, rice, chicken and mix veg, I also go to the gym Monday- Friday and do 1 hour of cardio and 1 hour of light weights at high reps. My end goal is to get down to 14 Stone in a year so I can interact with my son more.
The food environment is the biggest issue, I feel. We're constantly bombarded with food and drink ads starring actors who clearly could never or almost never eat or drink those things. If they showed the average 3-day-a-week fast food eater in the ads, I don't think people would go.
