Why is Markup RXP Not Picking Up The Right Symbols?

When selecting a symbol is various unrelated symbols are highlighted and even if I set the sensitivity to High it still doesn't work - what's going on? This describes why you might get into this situation and how you can go about fixing the problem. The root of the problem is that too many symbols have their sensitivity set too high and are picking up unrelated symbols, and once assigned they can no longer be allocated to their correct symbol. Watch the video for details.
(ps. to remove the markup as shown in the video remember the use the UNDO button in markup mode)

Thanks just got the app a few days ago and noticed some symbols weren’t picked up. All fixed now that I know about the sensitivity. Your videos are a big help:

Thank you for this as I was having this problem. I had put my sensitivity high as it was not picking up and had no improvement 🤷‍♀️

How do I just use one color for all symbols in markup? (The stats are not important) with this new update, do I now need to assign all my symbols a color one symbol at a time to be able to use the symbol search feature?

Even wen I change the sensitivity it still doesn’t pick up the symbols

Hi Jo, Markup R-XP uses pattern matching to find similar looking symbols, which relies on the shape of the symbol. Therefore, if the quality of your chart is low then not all symbols will be detected. You can try loading your chart in Extra mode (for extra detail) and that may help. Thanks

@@markuprxp wow that was quick x it’s a haed chart and it’s been working great but I think I’ve pressed something and it’s all gone a bit strange on the page I’m working on because not it’s coloured in areas I haven’t stitched !
