I got 5 crowns about a month ago. Ive been taking motrin basically around the clock because of extreme pain on molar area where I got the crowns. They knew I had lots of sensitivity before they put the permanent crowns on and still did it. I thought it would go away after a week or so. Went back to get bit adjusted and thought it would sove the issue. Still the same. Any advice? This has been a nightmare.
I had my crown removed because it hurt so bad! It was just maddening and life was unbearable with the pain. Hopefully yours will get better but unfortunately I went to an idiot who shaved my tooth down too much and the crown was absolutely horrid! He ruined almost all of my molars and I’m having to now go through the very expensive process of re-doing all my back teeth. Hope your teeth feel better.
Mine still hurts had to go get it resized after the first time then second time still hurting I take aspirin for the pain but it sucks I have to keep doing it like it got better the first time around but went back to have it reshaped then it started hurting not to mention had two other teeth filled the same day due to chipped tooth the first time around it took 3 weeks to get better hope I dont have to wait that long again for it to cause I’m super inpatient this is also a temporary crown not the permanent crown so idk why it should be hurting hope it’s nothing major like cavities underneath or nerve damage
Omg im having pain there as well. Literally feels like a tiny hole causing the pain cause it's trimmed too much. They told me there's no way because my root canal would've killed the nerves. So they tell me its the tooth behind it causing the pain so im going in a couple days to get the root canal done, but i don't even think thats the cause of my pain. The crown itself hurts
@zach4627 yea it went away eventually. I think it's just tooth sensitivity tbh. I've recently been using this foam Mouthwash and it seems to be helping. The Brand is called "EverSmile" and it's called Omnifoam Implant Crown & Bridge Cleaner.
My doctor asked me if I acn chew in both side ..in the side I put the crown and the pther side without it but I can't chew in the side where I hv no crown on. I'm scared
