I reckon the Nets will be an unexpected contender this season. I reckon Mikal will take the next step and become an all star player. cam thomas will have a massive improvement from his last season. and a healthy ben simmons could actually be the player he used to be! i have high hopes for this team

Jacque Vaughn is the biggest concern. They've always had the personnel, but he seems to always find a way to run line-ups opposite of the rosters strengths.

None of these plays move the needle enough for a championship. I seriously think the hardest ring to win any sport is in the nba. At this point you need at least 1 athletic freak to win. The west alone is ridiculously competitive

I'm from New Jersey, but I get why nobody is talking about the Nets. No real stars, bad offensive team that is short on both quality guards and bigs. Really the only thing we have going right now is that we have infinite trade assets and no reason to tank, so maybe we wind up as a third team in a trade for Tyler Herro.

Please do your research on the team’s defensive rating again. Tanking is out of the question for the Nets. If Ben Simmons returns back to form then the Nets are staring at a guaranteed 4-6 seed & thats without Tyler Herro.

Yeah tbh bridges really made me not miss KD that much. He took the scoring role and ran with it. He really made me not even think about having KD. He’s legit mini KD and in the next few years he’s gonna be a top 20 player in the league. Quote me now.

Playoff maybe but they’re in the No man zone which is not good enough to win but not bad enough to tank. They don’t have draft capital so trading or acquiring star talent will be difficult, it might be hard but best to trade Bridge when stock is all time high to a team for a draft capital since they got no draft right till 2028
