What it do Sean Wilson, I heard u speaking in one of your tutorials on keyboardists accompanying soloist. Some want 2 b the soloist, so the comparison starts. The soloist is the (4la k of a better word) boss. Play the song at the tempo the soloist wants 2 sing the song, not the tempo the keyboardist wants 2 play. I'm blessed 2 b both singer & pianist & have had people accompanying playing the song at their tempo, when I tried to speed them up (My Soul Has Been Anchored In The Lord) it's like he got an attitude & started playing the song not on the beat but after the correct beat, until an (I'll call an Angel) came up 2 the drums and put the song on the right beat. Or the a company it wants 2 get "Grand" it's all about him. He started playing the moment I stood up 2 walk 2 the microphone. When I got 2 the microphone I take it of the microphone stand, I guess it made too much noise during his intro so he plays the intro again I motioned with my body 2 speed it up a little, he looks at me and acts like he's the soloist and continues 2 play at the tempo he wants. So now I have 2 make lemonade with these lemons. So I worked with the slower tempo by giving voice. Serving vibrato,& adding an extra run that was necessary 2 make up for the run in the song was made 2 slow & simple, so I thru a fast run after the s-ll-o-w run (because of his too slow tempo). It made the run sound too simple. To wrap it up,he didn't know that I could play keyboa Rd. Aretha Franklin once said " When the pianist gets grand, its time 2 walk 2 the Grand (piano) & slide his behind off the piano stool, & proceed playing the song for yourself. Sorry for the long comment Sean Wilson,,,😏

Justin has 1 decade of experience given the fact he's 13. That being said, pick any Justin Lee schultz video, and everyone who listens will give you a thumbs up.
