Let me tell you Verna and city don't give you the luxurious tank like feel of the VW as well as SKODA. The sacrifice of features over the the look,feel and luxury is justified. The onyx variant I own is way better looking than the Japanese as well as the Korean. Ventilated seats and a sunroof are the only key features you would be missing. The road presence of SKODA RAPID ONYX can't be described in words. If you are complaining about the maintenance cost,let me tell you the cost of parts of the city and the servicing cost is way too much than the RAPID. I hope you take this comment as constructive criticism please👍
Yeah sad thing is, the myth that VW and Skoda cars are expensive to maintain will keep away many potential customers from even considering it. And it is bane to Indian auto Industry.
My family is also planning to buy rapid....but my father is saying it is very expensive to maintain...can you tell how much it cost in services...and are spare parts very expensive?
No one will unsatisfied with this car that's sure main thing in this car is driving thrill and travel comfort is top in segment, in 160 km speed rapid's suspension stebility is wondered me , nothing more say experience the car .best value for money ...

Iliked the video but cost is the major difference... When u c vento they are giving yhe top varient for 11.5l ..which has all features as in style... But why skoda cost is more there s major fact.... Also top varient style they are claiming for 13.8l .... Adding 1 mlre point skoda is older version.. But vento s coming with the newer version.... So i would definitely prefer vento while comparing both... Skoda should reduce its price before BS6 .....

Not only this. The Daewoo Matiz also had left hand control. Like the indicator switch was on the left and wipers on the right which is the reverse in Indian cars
@@balajidevarakonda8836 I bought it for 6.7L after showroom track of odo verification and it has 1 free service left which is due. No insurance. Replaced 2 tyres. My car has very minor dents hear and there and minor scratches, that's expected for an used car. Do you due diligence thoroughly before buying
1. Too much of Engine noise, insanely high NVH levels. 2. Not so powerful Engine, step motherly treatment to Rapid. 3. Very old design especially the tail lights. 4. Poor after sales service! They charge heftily even for a small underbody damage. 5. Old interiors and nothing new. What is that you are paying money for? Skoda brand ? Common! Just have a look at the no. Of models they have in Europe and here! Even for that matter consider VW vehicles as well. They aren't interested in the Indian market it seems. Don't get fooled by the "Rock solid" build quality etc etc. Common guys, this is 2020 there are quite a good 5 star safety rated sedans. Skoda isn't even remotely interested to push up the sales. For that matter, BMW is doing far far good considering the sales and service. Consider Hyundai, from nowhere in the early 2000's to the considerably decent good sales and service now! Look at their lineup. I am not a fanboy of Hyundai. Just look at the lineup of Maruti's , Hyundai's or TATA's. They are atleast bringing up new models and improving the sales and service. This Skoda is nowhere! Trust me, they are sailing because of Octavia! Fantastic vehicle let down by incredibly insane after sales service.
I agree that it lacks the latest tech and gizmos but the quality of the materials used is far superior than the marutis, Hyundais ,hondas and other companies .... Saying that, never compare the pathetic quality of suzuki with German cars. Hyundai is far better than maruti suzuki!!! This is my thoughts No offense!
Totally not true. Škoda are well built. I have a rapid spaceback90000km. Still as solid as 1st day Never any problems if you dont drive like a loonatic.
Using Rapid Ambition model since 2012. No issues till date. It's same drive today as of first day of purchase. Satisfied with Rapid it's performance. Till today drive 90k kms.
@@seetaramaiahdasari8487 ok. Mine is style... top of the line model... and trust me sir its a major problem in top model. Plus now the multi clutch is completely gone at just 60k kms. And car is at workshop for past 1.5 month. At channel motors Dehradun. Very bad experience with skoda
rohit kumar Good. I have the 2019 Petrol Style from SGA. Only downside is the city Mileage where it’s 8-12. Highways it’s 17kmpl. Handling and driving dynamics’s are top notch!
@@AshokKumar-ul6dg I suppose there is something wrong on my side. I am very sedate driver and the mileage hardly crosses 12kmpl. Its just 600kms driven since I bought.
@@paganmin8557 well said bro , me being a RU-vidr from Karnataka, face the same issue every day . I receive 100’S of hate comments from North Indians for not speaking in Hindi . But the dude who requested to speak Hindi has actually told it very politely, I respect him . But this is not the case with others . They think and expect everyone to speak in Hindi. I do almost all my videos in English, and very very few in Kannada. I do it in English so that each and everyone should be benefiting by my videos. But I see that most North Indians can’t even understand basic English, and so they harass us my using all the bad slangs .. Seriously I am sick of these people...
