Sloshing also has a pretty wide hitbox, making it really easy to land hits. It was already pretty powerful in 2, so I'm not sure why they felt the need to give it Fizzy and Booyah in 3 😅
Slosh seems to share about every single one of these traits with the stock Slosher too, as the Slosher has the same/higher fire rate, a very consistent bomb, an area denial special, and can arc over walls. Can't sleep on it
The sloshing machine is a really good weapon, and one of my favorites in 2. The sloshing machine is better, though, as it can shoot over walls better, has fizzy bomb(absolutely broken), and has an insane hitbox. I love the bucket, though!
The regular slosher is very bad in my opinion. It feels very slow and clunky. The Tri-Slosher was one of my favourite weapons in 2, it was just made for full on confrontation in my opinion. Perfect for active attackers. And it felt very fast and didn’t slow you down while swimming. In 3 however, they have it a really bad special so it made this a bad pick for me.
These aren’t the only reasons why it’s so good in S3. It was already solid in S2 but what made it so significantly better in this game besides what you mentioned is that it’s indirect hit box was significantly buffed (basically meaning there’s no aim required) and the weapon is also bugged and is able to literally hit people through walls in certain places
