Why is there a MPC One Retro Edition 

You got some good points with your opinion and predictions. Even said some things that I agree with. I’m one of many that bought the MP Live 2 RE cause of its legendary look lol. And I’ll admit, as pricey as it already is, if Akai comes out with an MPC X RE, IM GONNA COP IT!

The X retro will be coming .... They are spreading the retros. After the sales are done on the One and the Live 2 retro they will bring out the X retro to once more have a sales boost. After that they will focus on the next gen MPC. I think the X retro will be released at the end of the year.

I had no clue the price went up to $799

I got an MPC One today for $699 +tax. Came out to $771. I tried to get them to knock $20 off 😂 No go.

all things world wide got more expensive, even gas is more expensive... there's probably more mpc one's out there... so chose the one as the next one. i would guess the X is on the cards too.
