5 of my biggest challenges with weight loss.
A few disclaimers:
I am only sharing my personal experiences. I'm not a personal trainer or nutrition counselor. I will sometimes include links to videos you might find helpful related to topics I discuss. I'm also still fairly nervous on camera so I have to add tons of jump cuts but I am trying to improve slowly.

Losing weight has been my goal since I can remember. I have achieved it a couple times and had short moments of like “wow, I don’t need to worry about that anymore?” Now I’m trying to stay consistent. My goal for July is to lose 6.5 lbs.

@@gorditatomamacita Yes, I feel the same. It wasn't always weight loss for me but rather maintaining it which was always on my mind.

These are all too true points I’m sure many can relate to. Weight loss is a process just as any body transformation is and those results can only happen with consistent work day by day. I’m currently working to get back to a slimmer frame (mostly in my arms) and although I’ve seen results I know I still have a lot of work to do until I’m at the point where I simply want to maintain. For me, I’m super motivated because of the mantra I’ve been repeating to myself, “Every day I am getting closer and closer to where I want to be,” and I know that my daily efforts are going to pay off for me in the long run. I think it also helps that I’ve slimmed down before and I know I can do it again ! For any others who are working on a body transformation journey, you 100% CAN achieve the results want, with time, consistency, and working out using a method you enjoy and can stay sustain ! Here’s to us all and our goals ! 👏🏽💗💗

(Excuse my poor English) Growing up, food was plain, a necessity and later even a hostile environment during mealtimes. That started my binging behaviour. And that also started my restricting behaviour. When I was 18 (and 86 kg) the restricting took more controll creating EDNOS and in 2018 I thought i was doing great. I weighted 65 kg, exercised about 12 hours a week and my food pattern was an all or nothing mentality binging on multiple packs of crisps or eating a small salade. 2019 I stared having extra mental health problems, we all know what happend in 2020 (+ plus extra struggles in my life) and now 2022 I am 100 kg and having BED. Luckily I am getting help now and at age 32 I'm strarting to learn what a healthy food, exersise and life balance is. I enjoy following your journey on how you get back to a healthy life balance. Losing weight is just way more than moving more and eating less. There’s a big psychological component to this.

Great topic to explore! It's good to know the "why do we over eat?" I ate terrible foods when I was young but realized my relatives had health problems because of a bad diet. That's why I eat healthy now. I feel it's okay to treat yourself once in awhile. 🎂

Oh coca cola was my favorite growing up. It was hard giving up soda at first and stress can definitely make you eat your weight in food.
