Your content is so sick for someone just getting into the game in 1.0. I was GM in battlerite and pretty dubious as to whether the pvp in this game would be very deep, considering it's an open world rpg game, but Stunlock Studios sure knows how to make em! Really hope the pvp scene in this game grows to the level it deserves to be along with your channel!
Hey! For your brute build, have you tried Spectral Wolf w/ projectile speed, snare, and return bounce (heal) paired with Blood Rite w/ daggers on proc? Using Blood Veil and the brute set the self healing is actually insane while the damage windows are respectable with the blood veil damage amp. It's my current go-to for open world rift farming because you stay max hp while PvEing and can stick to pvp spec.
I've been thinking about the new lego static slashers and how I'm actually considering using a lego AND and normal version so I have different Q options. If you made the normal purp slashers static, it'd make it even harder to predict what Q you were using. Probably way over thinking it, but it's a cool concept.
The concept is interesting but yeah with only 8 hotbar spots its not worth. Technically you could do this by weapon swapping through inventory but I'd be very suprised if anyone goes to those extremes
@@chappllgr i guess you can start the fight with the one in the inventory then use the one on the hotbars but idk, maybe when youre poking with crossbow 🤷♂️
Pretty much what i have been doing for a while. Using chaos dash, blood rage, curtain. Still not sure if artifact whip strong enough to warrant foregoing whip E + spear Q
Artifact is better for solo whip since you don’t have good follow ups from the entangle and the autos are way stronger from having bis stats but losing entangle is worse overall when weapon swapping for sure
I think it's fine imo due to some people not wanting to use 5+ weapons while being able to fight people that do. Tbh they should make a few more weapons standalone viable. Hot take : they should make it so you have 2 "primary" weapons you designate, and you should have a swap cd using others.
im running morning star void frost nova and chaos veil its great for poking at them with the t4 gems for teh void to spawn 3 extra orbs and ten pulls them in and then t4 with extra lesser nova 2nd cast to insta freeze then use whip e to also zone them off with the fire it leaves on the floor and whip q to engage or disengage if they try to get close and u can save your veil for same engage or disengage options as a secondary also running spell dracula armor with scholar 100% blood for free casts
@@Bixxth the whole build is built on u kiting away from them every time they try to engage u can disengage with Q or dash and aoe dont get stoped by counters
Server is V arena - I always have links in my description. It's really fun for practicing and a lot of people including myself play it more than open world
I think it’s a lot better now because of how much stronger scholar is. I’ve been playing a similar combo but with aftershock instead of void and chaos barrage for ult
It’s not great but this brute combo is a way to get some good value from it. I wasn’t in these duels but some of the fights I played was with the artifact slashers which apply vamp curse. It’s surprising decent
@@dicedcarrots3773 they are the worst of the two artifact slashers but they are worth it over a purple. The E gives more move speed than normal and you can still get a regular slasher incap if you swap weapon during the animation
Cyclone is strong enough right now to combo with anything but whip at max range does slightly out space cyclone so it does synergies a bit better with other spells
I should of included a screenshot of those for better visual clarity. The end game sets are called 'Draculas Shadow for rogue' and 'Draculas Dread' for warrior
Pistol was great throughout gloomrot and is still important to hotbar due to the E but whip currently far outclasses it for midrange primary attacks and has two good abilities while pistol Q is one of the worst pvp weapon cds in the game. As a PVE solo weapon pistol is solid but its pvp importance is worse than it used to be
@@MRGMGG I’m not knocking it at all. I’m just trying to figure it out. I’ve been using pistols and loving it. How do you use the whip effectively? It has good range just feels like a lack of mobility or something.
As good as it is as a solo weapon at first glance it does seem underwhelming for a weapon swap since everything it does can already be covered by another weapons - based on that it technically is not essential to include on hotbar but when you realise how oppressive the tippered primary attacks are and how easy it is to hit dashes that is the biggest difference maker.
I feel like whip is a heavy PvP weapon which is why you might be feeling that way, in PvE (without legendary version) it does feel underwhelming compared to other open world PvE options
