When I saw that trailer, I swore I was back in the 2000s because the comedy is very the same. And I miss that comedy that wasn't afraid to push the envelope. In my opinion, art be it film, television, music or even games should make you feel something. We can't have comedy without someone willing to look a bit ridiculous. I swear entertainment is going the way of corporate art in how it looks polished enough but doesn't inspire emotion.

I don't follow the gender thing very close, but it just seems like to me this isn't about the "trans issue" it's the TRANS SPORTS ISSUE. which I thought the majority of people were in agreement it's a complete joke. When you go through puberty as a man it gives you physical advantages over a woman for life.

Loving the late 90's/early 2000s vibes this film is giving off - back when comedy films let loose and weren't afraid to poke fun at many different political and societal issues. Loving this already.

they're hoping people will subscribe to their streaming service and start drifting away from those leftist controlled platforms, and so to get that to happen there needs to be content there that will be entertaining and hence of value to customers putying it out on the likes of Google/Alphabet's youtube platform lets those guys get ad revenue and they won't make hardly a sent, and if they can't make any money off of the content they produce then their ability to keep making content will dry up

I'm sure they made a movie in less than a year and made sure his employees acted so that they could pay less; even female athletes supported it. It is a point made.

Google brings up the IMDB page for this film, but won't link to the Wikipedia article. The WP search feature also doesn't take you to their article on this film (even though it exists and can be accessed from Jeremy's article). And if you try to edit the plot summary which makes no mention of the actual gist of the story, you get called "non-constructive" and reverted without further explanation.

Really enjoyed it, which is surprising coming from an org known more for political punditry than entertainment, though I know they have a few productions under their belt. My only critique would be that they could have leaned even more into both the comedy and dramatic elements, keeping the messaging a bit more subtle. Still, this is a real movie in the vein of Juwanna Mann, Soul Man, Dodgeball, Major League, Bad News Bears, or any comedy sports movies from when it was okay to potentially offend people.

From the advert I saw, it looks like it's got a lot of the crass, off-color, bordering on raunchy humor that the woke, Democratic left usually *LOVES* in their movies and sitcoms! THAT's the movie I was trying to think of earlier, that this is reminiscent of! ⛸😎👍 The Left (not surprisingly) found that movie hilariously funny; but evidently Rotten Tomatoes is getting a late start on their site's review pages for this one; since at last check it still reads that the film is "not out yet" despite the viewing audience giving it a favorable rating of 91%.

This isn't a 'comedy movie Hollywood is sure to hate'. This is a 'movie' that anyone who's seen a movie before is going to hate. Terrible acting, crappy jokes. It doesn't have any actors in it. It feels like the only excuse anyone had to make this movie, is because Jeremy Boreing (his last name becomes him) wanted to dress his conservative friends up in women's clothing.
