Why Jiaoqiu has Insane Value for You | Honkai Star Rail 

i personally hate hypercarry because it's such a pain in the ass to build these team, i really like Kafka-DoT, Firefly / Boothill - Superbreak because they are relative easy to build and accessible, at least in my opinio, i still feel like i need Jq and Blackswan to make my DoT / Acheron team perfect

I don’t wanna be that guy but if you wanna shout out the math guys you should check out hunterkee. Isummon has made some pretty egregious math mistakes before that I still don’t think he ever fixed (check out the Firefly LC calc vid. Using his own numbers the conclusion makes no sense. It’s somehow 12/10 = ~1.30%).

@@bamboozled_again It's not even a pain in the ass to build hypercarry teams. I have 7 hypercarries on my account. They all share the same relics (Except for Blade). You really don't need to waste your time farming a full-set for your other characters if you already have a 70/200 CRIT set. It's pretty damn easy to build a 4-Piece Rainbow in my opinion. It saves you 800+ cavern runs. Just get Jiaoqiu and run Acheron, Ruan Mei & Robin with him. You won't need a sustain if they're all dead.

Jiaoqiu provides only two debuffs at E0S0.

Appreciate you and definitely gotta keep at it. Gonna try some new things, but I read a quote last month that told me "you have to fall so that you can rise to greatness" or something like that. It was good to read in the moment.

@@Iyoverse Ey bro, at the end of the day, we who come back, come back for the C'hantent. Less drama, more quality. You just gotta catch yourself when you're putting out too much chaf and focus on your strong suits. To me you bring out the attitude of still finding the strength of each character despite all doomposters, trying to squeeze that 90k Yanqing plays even when it's tough.

Severely underrated Nihility supports aren't used in the community as often because there aren't a lot of people who have the opportunity to build them. F2Ps particularly run into problems like this which is the majority of HSR players. That is to say, they are underrated for a reason. Everyone knew that Pela would pop off, they just didn't have the relics back then to do so. Respect is a strong word to use for Pela, I'd say that she had some spotlight but it's not enough to harbor any respect over a character. Silver Wolf has always been the best option for versatile teams. It's just that no one is posting frequent videos or talking about her since they don't care to talk about the game. I could care less if people think that a character is Single-Target. If you're having trouble clearing with a Single-Target unit then your DMG/SPD isn't high enough. Farm caverns more efficiently. Guinaifen is in the back with Amber. She is the walking definition of what an "Amber" looks like. She's only being used for a niche thing so I'd keep her out of team comps unless your Guinaifen has some god-tier stats. I have her built to Lvl 80 myself and she's better off not being used until another vulnerability enabler comes out. She's like Blade... her kit came out too early and she's not ready for Vulnerability as a new meta/archetype. Jiaoqiu would flat out replace her so don't even bother putting them on the same team. Black Swan is one of the most useful Nihility characters in the game. She has high consistent DoTs and enables units like Pela to stack DEF shredding to higher levels. If it wasn't for her DEF shredding, universal vulnerability (on enemy turns) and her universal DoTs she'd be a 5-Star copy of Sampo. That is to say, she is a great 5-Star to get. Well if you don't have a good Nihility character other than Pela for Acheron... it's essentially bust or move on at that point. You really should strive for two good nihility debuffers for Acheron. People who skipped Silver Wolf & Black Swan may be apart of the "people" you're talking about. We've all seen what Nihility can do, and it started from Destruction first. Might just be you who is being bothered by others' remarks but I think I've definitely cleared up what you didn't already say here.

@@TeamSakuraKC Tbh I think a lot of ppl though SW was broken but as acheron, Boothill and firefly came out and now fei xiao with her ult is when SW started falling off especially when Pela has also 40% def shred aoe (idk how much SW has) Am sure she is great but mostly for casuals and not so for people that eventually get all elements

That makes no sense to me as well. That's what the girl shines best, single target. And they went and made her gimmick pretty much irrelevant on the one game mode where she had no downsides

I think its highly likely we'll get better units for Ratio in the future. We want to really invest in that FuA or debuffing, and he doesn't actually provide that many debuffs compared to other Nihility and has 0 FuA (which is significant b/c FuA teams chain FuA's off each other for exponential growth). He can be used in any team, but he's going to be replaced fairly quickly in a FuA team - just need a harmony or nihility unit with FuA's in their kit and he's out.

jiaoqiu is surprisingly amazing for ratio, being as good as topaz e1s1 (even at e0)

@@mozeqiulover How so? He doesn't even provide 3 debuffs @ E0S0? Pela can literally provide them by herself with her technique+Ult+Skill.

But Jiaoqiu is a good replacement for FuA team that didn't have Topaz

I say stuff like Jingliu fell off all the time and I don't give a single a damn if it pisses people off. Negative noise can be cancelled by removing them from your sights. We're moving away from old DPS and it's better to just move to another area of interested than to stay dedicated to one thing. Saying that a character fell off is the same concept as moving away from something. It's how life works. We should be embracing new concepts while utilizing and improving on the old ones. No matter what I say, I'm still a Blade main.

He'd definitely move away from negative noise if he learned to edit himself more. But it don't really matter. Iyo's a yapper and most of his content is just for yapping. It appeals to specific people and sometimes I like to hear some yappin.

@@kuvjason7236 that didn’t happen. Prior to release people were already comparing RM to sparkle and the consensus was sparkle was better. When she released it was agreed upon that RM was better. People didn’t skip for her, especially because the patch before was giga dead (huohuo and argenti) and after RM we got ratio for free

I can make it, but to be honest she doesn’t need him if Acheron is E2. She’s already OD, but Jack will be her (current) strongest debuffer period. She’ll love him, but if you want to save jades it’s a good decision to make.

@@ATHOS_of_INDEX It's EXACTLY who she reminds me of and how they hyped up melt and there was a lot of enemies in spiral abyss for a minute that were weak to it...Just like the break meta we are currently seeing.

The only way break meta dies is if every enemy hides their weakness.

@@mogalixir or bar lock becomes a more common thing , or implant immunity/resist gets introduced, etc. if something becomes too good they can and will introduce stuff to prevent people from getting too comfortable with their teams. They did it with the freeze meta, they can do it again if break gets out of hand.

Sparkle is better but only if you can get 168 speed on wind set and give her an S5 DDD. Otherwise go for Robin. Jiaoqiu would be better for Acheron (not by much though, at least over sweat Pela + Robin) but for your whole account high investment Robin is definitely better (e2s1 is really good)

Pull for the upcoming wind DPS. Her best team will have both Aventurine (esp if S1) and Robin. Then probably save for Acheron rerun.

I have no clue if Iyo will see your comment so far down the list but I'm gonna respond in case he doesn't. I use the Acheron & Black Swan team as well and I believe that Pela should be enough to fulfill your E1 S1 Black Swan. It definitely would work better if you had Jiaoqiu but you should take note that Black Swan makes everyone do more damage... So you should pull for Jiaoqiu since Black Swan enables a DoTcheron team to be more efficient. Since you have E2 S1 Ruan Mei, then slapping her on your "Lesbian Gex Team" will indeed be as powerful as (if not more than) Jiaoqiu. Don't sleep on All-Type RES Penetration because you can have a total of 70% All-Type RES Penetration if you run Acheron, Black Swan, Ruan Mei. Keep in mind, All-Type RES Penetration is a separate multiplier. It's essentially fighting an enemy that is really weak to all elements by 70%. You can even include Jiaoqiu and you'll have no troubles in MoC for the next couple patches. Your team of Acheron, Black Swan, Jiaoqiu & Fu Xuan is okay. If you're running into CRIT Rate issues the it's okay to have Fu Xuan. Otherwise, swap her out for someone like Aventurine or Ruan Mei. Adventurine gives free CRIT DMG with his ULT and he can apply a debuff unlike Fu Xuan. Ruan Mei works in a similar fashion to Welt... she delays the inevitable. She also plants debuff which is active through her ULT. Although you'll be hitting over 600k+ with Acheron, Black Swan, Ruan Mei & JIaoqiu so you won't need a sustain if you simply kill them before the cycle ends.

Dawg, it'll be Feixiao on the tierlist once she comes out. We'll have the holy trinity of DPS legends. You can still use Ruan Mei with Acheron... just gotta make sure Acheron hits over 600k+ per ULT. I did a test with Acheron, Ruan Mei, Yukong & Bronya earlier and I found that Acheron is better off with full supports. If we assume that we can place Acheron, Ruan Mei, Sparkle & Robin on the same team, you won't even need Jiaoqiu. The PP girls are too strong together.

​@@yanuwwuu You guys can do what you want, I could care less. Acheron enters battle with 5 Crimson Knots if you use her Technique. When you open battle, you can push forward Acheron with Sparkle and she'll get 6 Stacks (7 If you have her Signature Lightcone). You just have do this three more times, break an enemy or apply Ruan Mei's ULT debuff and that's pretty easy to do. Your Robin can also advance your action forward so there's no problem here. She acts as the backup Nihility. Run Sparkle with 160+ SPD (Use Dance, Dance, Dance if you want, I don't care) and you'll be fast enough to pull off 1 ULT on the first turn. If you're clearing the First Stage with one ULT, it's no problem at all. If you aren't clearing it in one ULT then this team setup doesn't work. The remaining cycles, you can just play it how you like. Ideally you want to keep Robin's ULT for the second phase. It's all fun in games to mess around with team ideas. Of course, if your CRIT isn't already 80/180 you can't pull this shit off with Acheron. That is to say, relics are important in team building as well. Essentially a 0 Cycle at that point and it's achievable if you saved up enough jades to get 4 Limited 5-Star Units.

Well Topaz isn’t in a hypercarry Ratio team, so it’d most likely be Pela. He might replace E0S0 Topaz in the FUA team w/ Ratio though, but I’ve only tested E1S1 Topaz.

Well then that can hurt sustain sales, and selling sustains is hard already since once an account has 2 high quality sustains you're kinda set. When a character is made, they gotta be careful they dont extend over there role too much. A character being too weak is a problem, but so is a character being too good as well. And lets keep it real. Many dont wanna pull him because they saving for more hype characters. That and people freak out when a character is nerfed

The problem with having a Nihility healer is that it's a free Acheron E2. And those who have E2 can now run two harmony units with Acheron, making Acheron stronger than ever.

He cannot heal the wounds of allies but he can in fact heal the brain damage we have from arguing whether or not we should pull on his banner or not.

Silver is one of the characters that has aged phenomenally over time. Going from S+ -> A -> S (current) with a projection to climb to the top of that tier is not a “bad unit” at all.

The game is way past that point of only looking at one singular thing. Yes, in terms of amp, he only offers vulnerability but very important to know he has QOL, a lot of consistency and incredible uptime on his debuffs which is something that no debuffer in the game currently has. I don't believe he is broken by any means, but just by the nature of being a debuffer, something that's not extremely common, specially AOE Vulnerability debuffs which are even less common, he inherently has good pull value overall and excellent value if you play Acheron. Just as a note, the last limited non dot debuffer we got was Silver Wolf. And even if she isn't the greatest now, her and Pela still see great usage due to being debuffers. He's already going to be the best debuffer in PF and most units are not even best at anything.

@@mr.awesome519 Hes also a DOT dps both him and Black Swan cleared in the same number of cycles somehow even though he doesn't have blast DOTs like Black Swan. If we get another detonator for DOT other than Kafka we could possibly run two DOT teams but right now it seem like they are not really trying to support DOT.

Brother, people said that power creep was going to happen to Silver Wolf... look where that turned out. Vulnerability is not the only thing Jiaoqiu offers, he can in fact roast people who have no clue that 15% ULT DMG exists in his kit. That's not gonna happen anytime soon. How long has it been since another Vulnerability debuffer came out... since Welt appeared and Guinaifen showed up. That was in 1.0+ and it's not gonna happen until 3.0. We're not sure as well so I'm taking an educated guess here.
