Totally agree about Garoppolo. I was watching him play this week and wondering why there was so much negative talk about him. He threw one hi-speed laser pass after another and SF looked unstoppable.

what many haters fail to understand is that it isn't about the individual player's ability, that's not how a game is won. you have a solid team overall that works together instead of separate, THAT'S how you win games. jimmy g is a great team player and captain, his team loves him (even if 49ers managers don't) and they all work together to make things happen. that's why I love this team and that's why jimmy g belongs in SF

You had this right when you said LAR is a one WR group. Sean McVay was begging OBJ to come back last night on the standard broadcast. The announcer said his locker is still there just waiting on him so many times Mark Sanchez had to remind him this Rams team needs to be good enough for his services when he gets back. This team is an OBJ away from competing for the Playoffs. They stung me last season. Thought they were soft amd Stafford wasn't good at football. Jimmy is merely a good but not great passer, but he's an ELITE team leader. His teammates have said they'd walk through walls for Jimmy. Ever hear anyone say that about Aaron Rodgers or other better QB's? Jimmy is always cool and always aggressive, winning or losing. Not an emotional roller-coaster. He doesn't spiral down after a bad throw, but instead has a short memory and comes right back throwing beauties. And he not only has a short memory for his own mistakes, but also his teammates mistakes. He not only exudes confidence in the huddle, he INSTILLS confidence and builds UP players who made mistakes in the huddle. Jimmy brings the best out of his teammates, and they love him for it. Whereas AR12 punishes his receivers who drop his passes by refusing to throw to them again, Jimmy builds them back up and throws again to the guy who just dropped it. That's one reason Jimmy outperformed the MVP future HOFer AR12 in the 2nd half of the Div Playoff last year in snowing Lambeau. Previously, in the Wildcard game, Dak Prescott threw bad passes, got emotional, made bad decisions, spiraled down, couldn't pull his team back up and continued making errors ending in a doozy. Both Dak and Aaron are considered better QB's, but they're worse Leaders. Jimmy has led MANY come from behind wins, even after making bad INT's. Add the fit for Kyle Shanahan's game philosophy and Jimmy's super-quick release that provides an extra second in a collapsing pocket, for patience on timing plays or for taking advantage of those rapidly opening and closing windows in tight coverage. He not only has a super-quick release, but has super-quick decision making: from seeing an opening to getting the ball to that opening, is probably faster than anyone in the league. His quick release and quick decision making is a great advantage that is also underrated.

I always said... The Rams should've never gotten rid of Robert woods. Much like Todd Gurley, that man meant a lot to us. Esp those of us who are also USC fans. Robert woods was a perfect fit to go with Cooper kupp. Nothing against Allen Robinson, but he doesn't have chemistry. Similar to Westbrook with the Lakers. McVay's offense isn't just one of those offenses you can just bring in players. It's going to take time. And as far as the O line. Well, I think we all need to be more appreciative of the big guys up front. Shows how valuable whitworth was to us. These things take time to develop.

I agree with you quite a bit. But let's be honest. The bills are basically top 3 team in the NFL and then the 9ers defense is also really good. The Rams have the hardest schedule in the NFL this year. They nest AZ and the Falcons so they are beating the teams they should beat. But just because they faced two really good teams and lost doesn't necessarily mean they are falling off.
