Age changes everyone. Not even just with his political views, but overall Rogan is much more chill compared to even just 5-10 years ago. People just take what Rogan says so seriously and hold him in such high regard. Even he’s mentioned it hundreds of times that people shouldn’t take his view points to heart.
@@cuchiecrook1985 no conservatives are more for their speech not free speech it’s the reason you saw Tucker carlsons leaked messages saying he knew he was lying on air it’s why you see people like Ben Shapiro and even nick fuentes mass reporting content they don’t agree with what about the huge numbers of books banned in public libraries there’s one that goes over the struggles of being a lgbtq person called gender queer it was rated as a young adult book meaning you had to be 16 or older to access it at least in my area of Florida and it’s banned even for adult consumption you have to request the book specifically now that doesn’t seem free to me
Well lately .... I mean the party going after forms of speech ... Going after journalists, spying on journalists restricting speech on social media has been the democratic party. Rogan isn't a politician, he isnt a news source, he's a dude talking. He pulls better numbers than CNN, Msnbc, Fox News, AL Jazeera put together. Seems like one of those situations, when everyone you run into is a jerk,maybe you are the jerk?

This was my own process/recognition/growth 10 years ago. I was lost when I realized the “group” people I fuct with became/adopted the ideology and speech of the people I was opposed to. They changed. Not me. Now. I align with me. ONLY. If we resonate together cool. If not….f off.

This is actually the exact reason I am being pushed further left. The far right's treatment of women and their absolute refusal to admit that there are truly some people that shouldn't have guns is pushing me further left. If the abortion argument is none or all, I'm pushed further left than I want to be because none is unacceptable to me. If my tradeoff to being allowed to access birth control is that I can't make fun of people, that seems like a fair trade-off. I have to square myself with things on the left that I don't agree with, and so should repubs. If your trade-off for being allowed to mock someone's ethnicity is that your wife or daughter may die due to lack of healthcare, you have to own that. And to act as though the right isn't telling people how to live is childish, and maybe easy because you don't see women as equal people. It also seems childish that being asked to not go to a grocery store to protect someone's life was somehow tyrannical. I don't see the right "standing up for your rights" so much as pitching a fit because they were being inconvenienced.

Grew up as a skateboarder/punk. Rebelling against the system was always Evangelical Christians so I was very liberal but as I got older I still had an authority problem. Just the authority changed to liberals telling me what I could and could not say.
Conservatives like to play “free speech”. Look at Republicans banning Tik-Tok because they don’t like kids talking about Israel. Look at Ben Shapiro serving Candace Owen’s a gag order for talking about her break with Daily Wire. Conservatives don’t give a shit about freedom of speech as a concept…

I live in TX. Trust me that conservatives overall are not super free speech. They will crack down on speech they don’t like except for a few principled ones who tend to be more libertarian.
When both parties are subjugated to the extremes of their parties the more they push us out of the “binary” choice. I hate that our country only has two options and there are barriers to creating more options.
The parties have not changed. Conservatives have always been about god, family, The rule of law and self accountability. Liberals have always been about do what you want because it's your life. The difference is age. People tend to be liberals at a young age because they don't want to be held accountable to their own actions. When they get older they realize there are consequences to their actions and they start earning money and realize they want less government because they want to keep what they earn
Since, Joe Rogan got his mega deal via Spotify, he changed. If anything, he has more tools, more money and more information. So, I would not be surprised, if Joe has an agenda to talk about now. And, Joe is following orders from the top. That's the only reason I can think of why Joe changed. It's money! Talk about what people want to hear, not what Joe wants, but make money!

I think, at least in America, most younger people begin life for one reason or another Leftist and only through life experience and education do they learn to be more Conservative. It could possibly go the other way because of religion and what not but personally coming from a small Virginia town I see most kids leaving liberal ideas behind as they grow.
