He needs to return. Because in my opinion this BCC gimmick he is trying work isnt fooling legitimate wrestling fans. Moxley is the type that he needs someone to have creative input in his gimmick and Triple H could help him yet make it were he has some of his own independent input and tell him when something sucks unlike Tony. You do not remember the '90s the same way I do. ECW still had a ton of plots and storylines and the build up to their matches was outstanding. Even Mick Foley was anti hardcore And they did not have a bloody match every single night just for the sake of doing it. Lance Storm was in a tag team with Justin credible. These things work because thought were put into him not because Tony Khan was playing with toys in his dad's basement

Did you actually watch ECW? They built to matches. Axl and Ian Rotten didn't just have a Taipei Death Match out of the clear blue fuckin' sky. They had a number of matches and conflicts that built to it. Russo would pull this mark bullshit in the first match too. Great company.

You don't understand building a hardcore match, why are these people so angry at each other that they wanna do this type of match? In Moxley's case every match needs to have blood which is why he'll always be a Terry Funk/Foley wannabe

@@jinfin221 I say this as someone who likes Jon as a person, and sympathises with what he went through as a young person: it's not about what Jon was wearing on its own merits, it's about the context (i.e. time/place/situation) in which he wore it and the deliberation with which worse it, when at that point in his life he had the resources to choose differently as a way to honour the couple to whose wedding he was graciously invited to attend. Dressing down so much, he showed no consideration for the newlyweds or their special day, for the other guests who did put in effort, or for his own wife/girlfriend who probably wanted to look nice and presentable. He had a well-paying professional job in TV at the time, and before the event he had free time enough to source a nice plain clean dress shirt & slacks at minimum. Instead, he showed up looking like he rolled out of the gutter after sleeping in it, or he just came from a bender. To dress like he did was a way to draw negative attention to himself instead of the bride & groom, ruin the couple's wedding pictures, and make Renee look sloppy and like a bad friend or partner---all in all, an asshole move that paints him poorly, whether he did it intentionally or just carelessly without thinking (because of whatever reason). I lost a bit of respect for him, after that.

WWE only cares about dollar signs. They don't provide shit to talents despite working most of them like full time employees, they are classified as independent contractors. Meanwhile AEW provides insurance, transportation, lodging, etc. Because Tony Khan cares about each and every name in the back.

Because of the benefits AEW provides its employees, both in the ring and behind the scenes, outweigh those that WWE does and it's not even close. It'd be like comparing your local mall to the Mall Of America in Minnesota. Your local mail probably has a small island near an anchor store that's got a few rides that just go up and down and make a little sound for a few quarters. The Mall of America has a f*cking amusement park with multiple rollercoasters inside it.
