Why Jurassic World: Evolution 2 Is The Best Jurassic Game 

The fact that they recently corrected the Spinosaurus posture and gave him the iconic neck break kill animation shows how much love they have for this franchise and the fans. Can’t wait for more

The game also respects the hell out of the franchise it's apart of and the developers obviously love the shit out of the source material, with literally EVERY movie in the series getting so much love, hell even Camp Cretaceous got its due respect, as someone who grew up with the films since as long as I can remember, this game is truly a dream come true

One thing I love is how they listen to the community, as for example evolution square has made multiple ideas for packs and updates that came, and some make sense, but other ones like a feathered pack, square maps, and the aquatic update idea that came a week before the announcement of the aquatic update, and zip lines were really cool on how they added them

This game is an amazing game because its literally what the Jurassic World/Park movies are about, you make a park, there are contacts, budget problems, promotions, scientist, sabotages, enclosures, park buildings, and most importantly the dinosaurs look so lively and act as if they are actually alive and not an npc

This is definitely one of the best games I've played, because the genre genuinely keeps me invested for a long while. JWE2 and PZ have been a blast to play, and after watching this I've gotten an urge to play more often. New pack is really cool, and the video was well done, mate. Cheers!

It really is a cool game. I like the freedom it gives the player to really make it their own park.

Tbh JWE 2 is what I think pretty much all of us wanted all these years to have, it just is THAT great, it has more prehistoric creatures variety rather than just dinosaurs, much more well detailed andaesthetically pleasing buildings and scenery than any other JP or JW games, and of course, the fact that Frontier is always listening to its community and paying attention to what us playerbase share and think is just the cherry on top Edit: I could have said more but as I don't want to write the whole Bible Imma just stick with this at the moment 😅

Love this game and I’m so glad it’s still got such a thriving community and supportive devs. Would love to see continued support and development for this game in the future. The possibilities are endless and would love to see attractions like the river cruise and Frontier getting creative with the species they add. This really is the definitive Jurassic park building simulator and sim glad you made this video to showcase that to people.

Even though the sandbox mode is kinda the pride and joy of the game, the campaign, chaos theory, challenges make me feel it can accomidate all sorts of play styles. the roster is good too.

I was thinking about how great this game was last night building my Jurassic Park 30th Anniversary Build. JPOG, Zoo Tycoon Series, Planet Zoo all still hold a special place but JWE2 is a stand-out in sandbox.

Honestly the whole Marine DLC + the Spino/Rex animations made this game the best ever. I would be surprised if any game came ahead of it. Nice video!

I'm really hoping they keep updating for a few more months to a year Not just to add the final canon species and variants to the game, but expand more on the pre and post dinosaur species. And even beyond DLC, frontier always find something great to add for free as well (would love to see pterosaurs, especially the quetz, be able to walk)

one of the more reasonable things (i think) that would make the game even better is more decorational walls that act like the normal fences

Its the only game I've bought the dlc for 😅 and have plans to get it on another divice and get all the dlc content thats currently available. My PS4 cant handle this game anymore so I want a pc just for this game and movies. I love the autumn trees. Most of my saves are there. I use the trees and a water feature with the spino skeleton and lighting system.m together. It looks so awesome at night 🤩

They still need to work on the issues with the guest paths, plus jpog still gave us much more freedom to customize the island itself. I also miss the hot air Ballon ride.

Almost everything in this game is amazing, I just wish they made the animals “smarter”, where most of the their actions are coherent and have reason like time of the day, and not just randomly loiter, a “stronger” ambiance would also go a long way.

A lot of people would say PK (Prehistoric Kingdom) is better, but I simply don't think that's true. Yes, PK may offer almost boundless customisation with the free shape builder and what not, but the amount of time it takes with that tool even to build a tree, never mind a fully-fledged park, is excruciating and the thought of it is likely to hinder your imagination and actually limit your creativity. With Evolution 2, you can simply log on with an idea and start designing. Plus, I think I've seen more imaginative builds on Evolution 2 than PK. By the way, Great Video! I have only played jurassic world evolution 1 on the switch and i already love that game to bits. Only watched park builds for 2, once i get a ps5 jwe2 is one of the first games ill get on it.

It would be cool if indominous Rex had the flip over kill animation for the ankylosaurus (from Jurassic World) would be awesome

You see this game is incredible because unlike other sequels to pretty much all games it was better, it loved the franchise up and down in the franchise the devs love

What do think will be in the cenozoic pack, obviously mammoth and saber tooth. What else will be in the pack, I hope the Irish elk or Woolly rhinoceros.

Whenever i see people claiming that JPOG is better i always roll my eyes because JPOG is much more limited and has much less content, people like to mention that JPOG has custom islands but honestly thats the only positive thing i can think about it nowadays Don't get me wrong i love JPOG and i've played it for many years of my life but comparing it to JWE2 is like comparing a coughing baby to a hydrogen bomb, JPOG is a dated game and you can feel it, it was great for its time but it's not a timeless masterpiece like people say it is

One thing I dislike is the fact that ever single new animal is from pay dlc, but game inself is really good.

Having everything unlocked in sandbox feels so good. I have spent so much time creating parks there.

What I also love about this game is the Super Smash Bros. Melee like atmosphere, with people finding creative ways to use every little item and glitch to improve their parks. Even better, it’s like Nintendo joined the party, as Frontier actively keep in the fun glitches, acknowledge builds, and interact on the unofficial-but-became-somewhat-official JWE subreddit, all while improving the game and adding amazing new creatures.

I could honestly see jWE2 to be the tf2 for Jurassic park fans if frontier decides to keep updating it for the foreseeable future.

Its refreshing hearing someone gush about this game because ask anyone their opinions on the game and most responses will be something along the lines of “yeah sure I like it but it has its flaws” which I wholeheartedly believe to be true after all it is your opinion and not mine but it’s really weird to hear most people say they like it but never really get into as to why

I am here still wanting legit free range dinos like in Jurassic park operation genesis that isn't an exclusive to a setting in sandbox, plus something to give the dinos more character than what is already there, I am saying is enrichment items and buildable shelters for dinos, for now they don't do much, the social animations wear thin plus some maps restrict what dinos you can have in your park without warning you about hazards. Plus a dinoriding attraction.

An Incredible sequel to an already spectacular game. And we still got a lot more to come. I would absolutely put my faith in them making movies about jurassic world. Could you imagine? They respect the source material. They listen to the community. They actually interact with the fans. Back when universal needed people for the dino tracker,who did they get? Random Tiktokers who aren't even familiar with the franchise. And honestly they do a way better job than the last two movies did in my honest opinion. You can tell they love what they do. Instead of waiting for the paychecks. Absolutely one of the best development teams I know. bar none.

I do hope they make an optional for more complex aviary’s and lagoons i like the simple design but something I wish I could make for natural looking lagoons.

The game is fine. It's not awful, but it's not great, either. I'd say it's currently better than the original, key word currently. It was released as a buggy mess plagued by tons of game-breaking bugs, and Frontier had the nerve to release paid DLC before addressing these issues. It was eventually patched to an acceptable level of functionality, but the state it was launched in is inexcusable. Another huge problem with the is that the campaign was pathetically short, practically a glorified tutorial, only being expanded to an acceptable level with paid DLC.
