I imagine people spell it with two x's because of words like running, but it doesn't hold up a pattern like it. Running has gunning and shunning off the top of my head, but boxing and hexing don't duplicate the x. Probably because there isn't a word like boxe or hexe as there is for run and rune (though gun and shun don't do this either, languages are fun (also that rhymed)), two different things so running and runing mean different things. Though runing probably isn't a word, but you'd understand that it's putting runes on something if it was used. So I've changed my stance on this, I agree with you, it should be "doxing" with one x. Like you said, stealing can be a thing, however physical and mental abuse is a very common thing. I've worked with patients who have a history of attacking their family's and friends, who have let their kids starve, and live in squalor because that money went towards getting their fix, have severely injured or killed those while driving under the influence. I worked with someone who worked themselves to an early grave to pay for her son's habits to stop him going out and doing something stupid for drugs. Her son is now in prison for a very long time for the things he did to get those drugs after his mum died. @@McFwoupson

imo DIY does have it's place since sometimes you don't have an option. Informed consent is the exception rather than the norm in a lot of places unfortunately. And it's sadly often the case that doctors do not have the knowledge that they should in these regards. I resorted to DIY as well before I was able to get my hormones prescribed and I'm really glad that I've been able to do so. I researched a lot about the topic and got my blood work done privately by a lab to check levels which made it reasonably safe I think.

as a trans person: I love muta. he is calling out a person who is genuinely awful. keff used her platform to boost her power and ego. also peddling homemade hormones should be illegal and she should be arrested. calling out bad behavior is not being transphobic. its being a good HUMAN.

@@alexh2947 idk man, DIYing hormones is very dangerous. Generally, DIYing crucial functions of your body is a recipe for a bad time, which is why supplements should be monitored better and stuff. I get what you’re saying though. I think governments should improve trans healthcare instead of regressing. Although healthcare in general is regressing, not just trans healthcare. Ultimately the lack of accessibility for trans healthcare does not successfully outlaw trans people, it just makes them go somewhere else for their healthcare, from what i saw, it’s not like Keffals came up with the DYI recipe, it was already available online and know all the drama surrounding her has publicized it better than she initially did, I wonder how many people realized that yet.
