Kelly Park Rock Springs in Apopka, FL (Apopka is just outside Orlando). We celebrated dad's birthday.
*1st half of this Vlog is peaceful/quiet, just the way I intended it.

Hubby and I got there right at 8 a.m. when the part opened so we enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful Florida morning exploring the park by ourselves.

+Jon S Hey Jon, it depends how fast or slow you want to go. Some people would get out of their tube and literally walk in the water faster since its shallow. But I would say between 15-20 mins?

I know this is a pretty old video put me and my friend plan on going around July 30th, do you think the park will be this peaceful then? What time did you guys go in the day?

It will be this peaceful if you get there RIGHT after they open like 7am. In July, they will definitely get busy probably about 10am to 2pm so my advice is to get there super early! Let me know how your trip goes!

Sana, many people bring their own tubes but I think more people just rent there right at the park. Thanks for asking!

We were vlogging at the park in Oct 2018 and there are no tube rentals available once you actually get in the park. You need to bring your own or rent before you enter (there is a clearly advertised spot about 1 block from the entrance).

How much does the entrance cost?

Good question. According to their website I listed in the info box: Park Admission Fee: $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people; $5 per vehicle for 3-8 people; and $1 for additional person/walk-ins/motorcycles/bikes. No pets; No alcohol

Is the water cold or warm? Google says warm, but I've never heard of a warm spring in Florida.

No, the water temp is cold (for Florida standards). It's a constant temperature of 74 degrees, year-round. Hope that helps :)

I lived nearby and went all the time it's generally chilly water even on a hot summer day , but what better way to keep cool . I think everyone who visited has gone back again and again .

In the summertime it’s cold but in the wintertime it’s warm. It stays the same temperature summer and winter.

Good question! It was about $7 last year. The cost may have gone up now. You can bring your own floatation device as well!

Brianna Grace I’m sorry I didn’t get to you sooner,but I was in the Ocala forest looking for clues to the numan,you see this whole area from Kelly park to Ocala,there is so much dense forest that at night you can’t even see your face in front of your hand,this group of creatures have been thriving back here for many years,many of the missing people have been members of the rainbow people,who no one really knows,the law isn’t that interested because they don’t really care about them.i have set traps to have them ripped to shreds and the trees that I tie them too are totally ripped from the ground,they have been known to eat dogs in one bite,if you haven’t noticed the bear population has gone down immensely and I’m sure it’s the numan,because the bears are known to have no enemies,I have seen fresh bear carcasses ripped to shreds and I know it couldn’t be any other animal to do this,the numan is alive and well, and I think the law doesn’t want to approach these dreadful creatures,so if you go into these woods at night for Gods sake be careful. !!
