Love this Bill. I remember how moved I was back then and still making a positive difference in so many lives. Keep on - keeping on!

I've read the Book of Mormon 18 times in 3 languages. I know it's true as much as I know I have 2 hands. It amazes me that someone can even read it once and not know.

I know the gospel was restored while also recognizing the Church whitewashed its history. Which I see as unfortunate. Because knowing past leaders were heavily flawed makes me feel more relieved about me being heavily flawed.

The spin is called gaslighting from the leader's approval of the teachings of their gaslit truth. The second thing is people forget Joseph Smith claims to have a direct connection to God the Father, Christ and angels. Yet, Most of his prophecies did not manifest. Unknowingly is not an excuse when you claim to receive prophecy, even today. He would have known the things he was doing was corrupt, illegal and would not work out, "if he had a direct connection to God. " God would have helped Joseph fulfill his goals to bring the truth about. Too many things in Joseph Smith's life failed, he claimed prophecy. I feel like there is so much gaslighting with the LDS narrative. LDS had the opportunity to tell the truth with the book the saints and they could not do it. After the excommunication of the September 6. Why would the LDS Church excommunicate them for honesty. There's no excuse! you know why people leave? because of the lies.... Prophecy does not equal Doctrine, prop eight. There are so many reasons why people leave the church. Mine started when I was 7 years old.

In my experience those that leave the Church reject the members far more than the other way around.
