@@angostura7797 Florida has enviable economic, quality of life and public safety conditions compared to Democrat run states, which is why so many people are fleeing blue states to move there. People talking with their feet is profoundly better evidence about a state than any political rhetoric. Conversely, it's idiotic to continuously plug a state when hundreds of thousands of people and an armload of large employers a year are fleeing the state to move to states like Florida or Texas. Democrats keep saying red states have the highest crime rates. What they fail to realize is those cities in those red states are managed by democrats and have been for years: Memphis, St Louis, New Orleans, Houston , Cleveland
Name one republican city as big as any of those 4 you listed ..... Crime happens when you put a million people in a land mass smaller than my hometown with a population of under 20k...... Don't forget about the poverty and lack of education. Most red cities are in rural areas

Missouri has two of these cities, StL and KC, both run by Democrat mayor's and councils, throw in a Corey Bush, or two, defund and degrade our police officers, prosecutors who won't prosecute criminals, in the name of 'equity' is the reason these cities are hell-holes. A ' rino' governor does not help either. So, there you have it. Crime is spreading out of these cities, from both sides of the state. Law & Order restored and BACK THE BLUE is what's needed. You know in my city they don't even report on crime that happens. Especially, if it's by an undocumented person or people. A middle age couple was home and a group of hispanic men took a hammer bashed in their sliding glass door. Beat the husband with a gun and he ended up in ICU The wife was pulled out of the shower and beaten as well. She couldn't understand what they were saying and they wanted money. Anyway, not one word on the news. This was last summer and only one story. They can't get away with this this summer. Word of mouth travels fast.

Sorry, but the residents of Chicago get ZERO sympathy from me. I lived in Commiefornia for more than 20yrs. As I saw what was happening, at first I got politically active by voting, then by joining in protests, then getting involved by helping in campaigns….that didn’t work. So I voted with my FEET! I fled liberal land insanity!! As an adult, we have the right to LEAVE any city/town/state where we are unhappy with our leaders. America-land of the “free”…at least for today anyway.

In a democracy, people vote for their politicians. Obviously Chicago got what they wanted: a progressive Mayor. Those that didn’t vote will have to suffer or benefit from those that voted. Just glad I don’t live in that city.

Well, when you think about it, you have to admit whenever there is a crime being committed. Eventually a cop shows up, and then the problem starts. If the cop had not showed up, the crime would’ve been committed or reported and no one would know about it therefore,lowering the crime rate and isn’t that what we’re all trying to do lower the crime rate, nobody wants that.
Maybe it’s not about policies. Maybe it’s about broken homes, drugs, fatherless boys, incompetent teachers, bad schools. Kids join gangs to feel like they have a “family”. 80 percent of black kids are born to unmarried women who often have several children by several different men who are in jail. It’s not policies.

When you vote, those running need to sign a contract stating exactly what they are going to do. If they can't do this, don't vote for them. If that contract is broken, they are out. Just like they did on McCarthy.

Higher crime will only be addressed once it starts hitting affluent neighborhoods and gated communities. Already have seen people either walking or riding bikes into gated communities. They just watch for cars pulling up into these areas and follow them right in. So no place will be safe but people will demand their safety.
