Lux is also terrible at sidelaning which is usually the midlaner's job midgame onwards. Playing her APC means that she's now the one in charge of mid lane when laning phase ends which is really strong because she clears the wave really fast and get mid lane prio and do her usual long range poke to contest objectives. Not to mention overall bot lane matchups are better for her than mid in the first place nowadays.
@@LukeA471 Botlane Carry in general is. In my opinion so everyone can gather quick in case he/she needs protection. And while you shove down Top or Bot for Nashor or Dragon, generally pushing mid to a certain point is of big help, especially vision-wise.

False, major responsibility for side lane is top not mid lol And going split or team really base on your composition.(Malphite top going split push is also dumb) I guess your impression toward mid lane is because assasins is not good at team fight, so they want to 1v1 1v2 in sidelane. You're clearly trolling if you are playing Lux AD. None of her skills scale with AD.... The "AD" in ADC is Attack Damage. Lux doesn't do much Attack Damage so she's terrible as an Attack Damage Carry. She can be an APC (Attack Power Carry).

Does it do more damage than an adc would that way? No. As long as nashors is first you can get fed early enough so the item advantage at least keeps you ahead of the enemy adc. Onhit from nashor plus crit is no joke.

Its because a 2v2 against a mid and jg is way more difficult than a 2v2 against a botlane. The majority of junglers are strong in early game and midlaners have that 2v2 as said in the video, but the ADC's...
@@crebilus8623 in bot she one shots both adc and support if she hits a Q and if the support has CC they can just engage and insta kill one of them. Where in mid it's a lot harder for lux to be safe from ganks and the mid laners typically have enough mobility to punish her if she uses her abilities were in bot she outranges adc's and most supports and adc's don't have the mobility to get onto her and so with her waveclear she gets perma prio on bot with wards and then can freely just throw poke that is hard to dodge consistently without mobility that takes 30% of the enemies health. Also another problem with mages is usually they want to sit mid the entire game because they are bad in side lanes and the adcs also want to be mid in the mid and late game and so they conflict. Where if the mage just goes bot they can bully the enemy adc and then take the mid lane duty without getting in the way of how the other team members want to play.
People used to say they played “AP” or “AD” instead of “mid” or “bot” but for some reason people still erroneously use AD to refer to the role even though we moved past AP meaning mid. All that to say, this is not lux ADC lmao

And even then, AP and AD did not mean Mid and Bot. It's just that those people were going to play an AP mid or an AD bot, so it was the same. Nobody smart said they were going "AP" and then locked in Zed mid. They would say Mid

I personally would be totally fine with botlane being the place for scaling, nonroaming mages AND marksmen. There's room for diversity in the botlane carry role. It just needs to be intentional. It feels like marksmen get guaranteed crushed in lane by a mage and also outscaled. One of those needs to be different.
Yeah cuz sera scales with gold extremely well and has dps (like brand, karthus and ziggs who also get played botlane). Lux instead is a bit of cheesy pick who falls off against competent players in higher MMR
Cus sera has high range and good dps on her Q she can win against adc's. I personally never thought sera bot was super op, it's just that people don't expect it lucian would shit on her, jhin too and miss fortune sera only has skillshots so she is unreliable as a consistent damage dealer if u go cleanse u can just run at her and kill her imo her scaling was broken though before the changes now she is still good though
@@letsplayg jhin and MF aren't that good into seraphine, MF wins only cuz she's top 3 ADCs right now. They are poke Champions that hate losing priority to a mage with a lot of waveclear and shielding/healing. Usually i pick sivir into seraphine, but kai'sa and lucian are good picks too; yasuo and Samira are also cool cuz they have a windwall able to block her ultimate but require a good support to do something in lane.
@@pavel4791 idk when I played mf against sera I just deleted her with E + ult and strut makes it easy to dodge spells. On jhin I feel like if u time ur auto's correctly or bait her shield u can kill very easily but that is just my experience I am hardstuck plat-emerald so.. but I rarely struggle against sera bot with jhin or mf personally especially jhin if I dodge her E and land an auto then w she's just dead lol the shield is big but the healing sucks early imo maybe I've just played against bad sera's I don't think mf or jhin are poke champs mf her Q makes it seem like that but they deal heavy ad damage after building one item cus of love tap/jhin scaling well with ad, I only struggle against sera when I play jinx, vayne or ashe tbh to be fair the only adc I played a lot were ashe, jinx, jhin and mf I main support now but can play mid or adc too I actually win most playing mid got to like emerald 2 and used to main mid, mostly katarina, fizz, malzahar, sylas and lux but I just love playing a healer in most games it's very satisfying to play Janna and keep my team alive she's my fav champ. Jhin can also build maw which gives him a 900+ magic dmg shield cus of his high ad, boots of switness really help against sera and is good on jhin losing prio rarely happens when I just last hit lots of sera's spam Q and I just freeze till dragon comes up then reset the wave and win the fight but that is just my experience it's not necessarily factual sera E has a high cd and is really punishabe imo jinx and ashe just don't do enough dmg early and are super easy to hit.
as a lux main yes botlane is her perfect lane she is litteraly the best apc in the game with sera too because sera can be a wonderful apc. in fact i always play them
Εven though I enjoy playing support, I've come to realize that I need to play more carries if I am to escape the low elo I've been thrown in after years of inactivity. Support just doesn't cut it when your adc is braindead. So as a mid/support main, playing Lux, Ziggs and Karthus as adcs has really helped. I've been climbing pretty consistently lately. Hopefully I can reach an elo where playing support again is viable.
yeah i love playing her apc over midlane because i honestly think its a better role for lux (not to mention lvl 3 with another person goes crazy) shes like seraphine with a bit more dmg and less utility, too bad my team flames the pick every other game lmao even if i do well

This champion doesn't exist because I perma ban her; Just because she's given to new players who keep her overall stats down enough to keep getting buffs if not nothing done at all doesn't mean she isn't busted. Level 12 accounts are the only reason lux players suck. Try dealing with a multi hundred level lux OTP who knows their champ...
She can apc bot but it's not really viable imo, if you overextend even a bit your going down. It's sorta a chill playstyle farm and poke, she's so squishy so I get the frustration of bursty mid champs. End of the day its really just about spacing and not getting to greedy. Roaming is terrible with lux, shes so slow and so squishy.
It's bullshit when you called a "Ability Power" build champion "Attack Damage Carry". Sitting on bot lane with a support doesn't make you an "ADC" automatically. Not Ziggs nor Lux would.
It's actually top lane. Tux (Tank Lux) will destroy any top laners sense of self. They're used to smashing down squishy mages. But what happens what that mage with too much cc get 4k Health and a Heartsteel to destroy you with autos?
Still don't think it's that good : Lux is very bad at DPSing, she only has burst. Which means any random adc will HEAVILY outscale her and will destroy her fontline while being protected. Moreover, enchanters don't synergize very well with her.
enchanters are excellent with lux, wdym. In Addition there are plenty of dps champs in mid/top/jgl and most games dont even have a frontline because everyone is drafting tristana mid tf top or comparable stuff
I usually play jhin, he also is bad at DPSing bro 💀, and she doesn't need to DPS if she oneshots the ADC from the other side of the map or if you already have a DPS teammate in other lanes
Totally agree with you, especially in a force fight, there is no time waiting for your slow poking. And really hopeless against tanky compositions. And if you lose the lead bot, due to your low dps and enemy only have to dodge your Q, then they can kill you/block your exp. Really bad idea promoting LUX bot. Ziggs has relatively lower cool down and importantly sieging value(don't think it works all the time tho). Lux bot is pure trash.😊

If you play lux "adc" (ap mage on bot to be more specific) you lose that important dps from ACTUAL adc, not saying you cant be ap carry, but your team dps is lowered without adc really hard in tank meta now.
You can definitely play APC in bot but ideally you’ll have AD somewhere else on your team, like this can go with an ADC that can play mid… this to say that playing a mage bot can work but don’t call the role “adc” lol
Ive been having big success using glacial ,unbeatable and mvp going full ap as intended :D but sometimes lazily support when i cant be bothered to farm and its working out very well :0 also vex supp with the usual runes and full ap again cuz i am not a proper support xdd and all that because i rerolled a skin for lux and vex
Thats a little bit bullshit, Lux can push waves better than most midlaners, has a great spike in midgame, can easily help jungle with her oneshot and zoning potential.
Calling lux an "adc" ignores the first 2 letters of the acronym. Crit lux can work(same with pretty much any mage with crowd control) , but you play lux for those high damage spells
in wild rift somehow riot thought it was a good idea to make her Q hits all target it touches even if there was 20 target, and her ult is every 12sec 😂😂 hope she doesn't make this rework to lol
