This video is dedicated to my mom. Minecraft inspires, you inspire more.

This is something of a tribute or poem about Minecraft and it's history. I always loved Minecraft more as a concept, than as a game. I tried to figure out why this exactly is. I personally think it is because of YOU. In any other game, such as Portal, the game wouldn't be enjoyable without playing , however Minecraft can be enjoyed by just watching and thinking about it. By listening to music video made by people, fan animations or just 4 friends pressing shift together.
This video is something of a thank you to the people that subscribed as well. I went from 100 subscribers to 6000. I know alot of people wanted another Minecraft video, so here is it.

This video is perfect. It so well captures what truly makes Minecraft what it is today and that’s the people. Minecraft would be nothing without the people, and we as a global community have made it our one home we all share together. I really do hope that Technoblade is proud of us all and happy to see what we are doing in his name and in his memory. When you blow up on RU-vid, remember me okay? I know this may not come up as important, or come up at all. I absolutely love your work for the both of you.. Just the way you speak, and the way you say your words just is so unbelievably phenomenal. You're so creative, and I love your work so much I actually put your video (Steve is the loneliest god) in a journal on my minecraft server. But with that aside you don't even realise how much inspiration I get in writing from the stuff you make, you happen to put so much emotion into it. Please keep creating! You'll have to excuse my derailment here... This title reminds me of what I've been saying about an entirely unrelated game series on an entirely unrelated topic. LittleBigPlanet. Even a bit before it's sequel came out it started changing a lot about it's identity, (some try to claim there never even was a change, but i swear to god-) the default skin, or sackboy, was suddenly referred to as the main character of the series. I feel like this is a betrayal and mistake on the creator's part. The game and series should never have been about some default skin nobody taking away the limelight from the people who gave that skin life: the players and their customization. LittleBigPlanet's first series of promotional art were of the people, some versions didn't even have the default skin sackboy in focus; even when mostly undressed, but a more silken no-name variant. The intent was clear to me at least; this was not an IP about one marketable face, it would not have a *single* face, this was the people's world, and all their stories, faces, ideas, creation, and beauty. "On LittleBigPlanet, YOU'RE a little Sackperson." Now it has fallen so far that Sackboy is the very title of the IP. And there is zero level creation to be seen in the series since. Minecraft by comparison has done a bit more to reject Steve as the one face. Remember it's really "Steve?" Although I'd argue Mojang as of late are really leaning in a bit too hard on the villager look right now, instead of just focusing on the players, who are the true alive inhabitants of the cube world. With recent updates... Minecraft has strayed further away from the playerbase more than ever. I hope we can be given the chance to heal.

I'm sorry, I've never played LittleBigPlanet before. I thought it was a platformer but now I no longer know what it is about. You recommend it tho?

@@CaptainPointless That's quite alright, I don't expect anyone to know what I'm talking about at any point I leave around comments. It is actually, platformer. But with deep focus on User Generated Content. It's online features were developed enough to feel like an entire other kind of "facebook". You shared levels and creations, pictures and reviews. All accessible both from console and computer. The official websites since has been shut down. Most servers too. It's difficult to fully recommend it now. It is inert. The sequels made the creation tools advanced enough to adopt the mantra "A platform for games" roughly meaning while it is a platform game; it is possible to advance the engine into "unintended" genres. There is a project in the works to revive the IP with private servers. We'll see how that goes. Since it does entail proficiency in either jailbreaking or emulation.

@@user199x Oh, so bit like Portal's online custom room sharing? Sounds sweet. User generated content is often times superior to the main game in certain niches. Sad to see the site gone down, but its the nature of online based services I fear.
