Today, Taylor quits "The Iron Snail" and rides off into the sunset to find bigger and better things.
Hello all! This is part 2 of the Scotland Adventures. This is part of a larger series about starting a company and running a business. Anyway, today Taylor and I visit Sam over at Woven in The Bone to see how the cloth gets made! Also, Taylor quits. Womp womp.That's okay though, she's been loving her new job!

Having switched from years of full-time freelance design to working at a company with a set schedule, it’s made a huge difference in my work-life balance. I hope the switch suites Taylor just as well. Great video as always; safe travels and stay well, Michael!

My dude... I know it will impinge on the doo, but they make AWESOME hats out of wool too. You being in that cold wind/nose running/mittenish land sans chapeau is making me cold in the Texas heat! 😉 Phenom vid as always and congrats to Taylor! Hope the new gig has worked out.

Well, hopefully sooner than later Taylor can join Iron Snail full-time once the budget allows. I really do like her idea of making lamp shades though, near where I used to live was a lamp shade shop so I know from visiting it is something need. So many times I like a lamp but not the shade or the shade is damaged. Really a cool idea, keep us posted if she does something with that idea.

I recently cycled around the West of Ireland and met a weaver named Seamus who works at a Connamara Sheep and Wool Center in Leenaun. Learning about spinning wool and running a traditional loom from him was incredible. Experiences like that really stick with you.

Trust yourself Mikey, you’re doing a great job already. You’ve been making good decisions for a long time, that’s not by chance it’s because of who you are and the strengths you have. i think you have a minor audio eq issue in this vid ! your mic reallyyyy picks up the higher, more ear-grating frequencies and exaggerates them, such as the keys jangling, and some pronunciations of any s sound. loved the vid, hope you take this tip and improve later!😁😁
