Because he is so hungry to play Matches after a long break more than six-months without playing spending his time on off-court that's the reason i think so.....VAMOS RAFA💪🔥❤️😊👍

His game is as sharp as ever. I pray his body keeps going. After that Fritz final Nadal looked like he was about to retire

Yeah, I agree! For most of his career Nadal has been staying far behind the baseline and returning high looping balls to the middle of the court. A kind of a neutralizing ball. Or a point "resetter". This more aggressive style of returning is certainly riskier, but with practice comes perfect. And the reward when successful is obviously high.

He's not really dominating every match but still managing to win. A 20 match win streak to start a season in mid 30s is insane, especially given how many deciding sets he played

Let's be honest, Nadal played as good as the start of 2017 and 2011, the only change is that Federer and Djokovic who are clearly better on hard courts were absent, if not he would finish as a runner up against them .

Medvedev was the hottest player on hard court...his record showed that. He blew Djokovic away in straight sets in US Open. Then Nadal beats Medvedev in Aus Open. So don't speak crap saying "Old" Federer would beat Nadal or Djokovic would. If both fit, Nadal will crush Djokovic at RG. Djokovic can ONLY beat him there when Nadal is injured...

@@jmilne5751 Let's be honest, Djokovic wasn't himself in that USopen final of the cheer pressure . For Federer you forget that Roger LOVES playing against a pusher like Medvedev , his shots lacks the spin that bothers his backhand and I'm 100 % sure he would have eaten him up with his offensive game style and his variety

Question is, can he remain healthy. It seems to me in the Finals at Indian Wells he was battling TWO injuries. I know Fritz was also injured and still played a great match but Nadal seemed to be hurt much much worse. Normally, Rafa would have pushed Fritz aside quite easily. If he would have played like he played Alcaraz…. sorry, I love Fritz but, no way he would have lost to Fritz. Okay, I confess….I am a Rafa fan. VAMOS RAFA!!! 🤔🇨🇺🇺🇸
