Hi there, Will you be able to check the following since you have done most part of all. 01. Turbo functions (if the turbo works with vacuums solenoid) 02. Timing chain (secondary) why I’m saying is, in case if the top timing chain has stretched the injector pump advanced wherein rerun to burn unexpected or excessive fuel that has enter into the cylinder 03. With regards to the oil thickness, you may have to check the oil pump as well, 03.1 there are chances of oil contamination due to the bad oil pressure 03.2 engine under compressor

Well, a faulty MAS sensor indicator in the scan results unlike check engine light. The best thing is, just take it off and spray some contact cleaner and put it back, that will minimize the black smoke and increase performance when the cylinder gets correct air to file ratio

Have you check the vacuum suction from the direct vacuum hose? If you feel sufficient suction, yes then the ideal solution is to replace the solenoid

Rudy Ragoobar glad your using the correct oil, then you need to take to a good workshop and show up for a better inspection, it may have to replace the piston rings for loosing the engine oil. But for the black smoke enemies you blank the EGR the carbon deposits make black smoke as well as please check whether your catholic converter. Surely it must have blocked

How did you serviced them? Did you use the correct O-ring, copper base washers? If the still black smoke can you just unplug the air mass sensor and turbo vacuum hose and try

Hello dear Apparently he has not blank the turbo as if the turbo blanked it would lose the power of the engine. He might have blank the EGR. 01. First Need to check whether your turbo turbo has excessive oil leak via the intercooler, if so yes the thick black smoke 💨 02. Check the injector pressure test, if the injectors flow rate and back leak more than the expected, it would produce the black smoke as its burning raw fuel 03. If the DPF, silencer clogged with carbon it would have black smoke 04. Also if the intake and EGR clogged with carbon there will be high chances of black smoke. Engine internal heating system, if you decided to blank-plate the EGR then you need to remap and remove the EGR and DPF function from the ECU.

Rudy Ragoobar good day! First of all may I know what’s the engine oil your using? If your not using the correct engine oil it’s obvious to vaporize the oil within the piston combustion process. (Since you don’t find physical oil leek on the engine bay or around that would be issue) black smoke caused due to the EGR block wherein the exhaust recirculating gets block this also another issue to lower your engine oil. There is a video which I’ve done on how to clean the RGR valve,

In most of the diesel engines that’s normal, but you can check the function of the turbo and injectors. Specially if there is a larger flow of fuel in injectors with initial pressure.

@ABC Auto Trendy will be white smoke if is injectors or does that great black smoke aswell is really bad black smoke

There are a few reasons for black smoke and white smokes Black smoke 01. Bad injectors 02. Bad turbo 02.1 turbo not functioning for a mechanical issue 02.2 turbo may not function because of bad vacuum solenoid 03.3 turbo may not function properly due to bad vacuum supply 04. Bad air cleaner filter 05. Bad or malfunction of air mass sensor White/blue smoke 01. Turbo failure and internal oil leak 02. Valve seal leak from the cylinder head 03. EGR valve failure (excessive oxygen increase to intake) 02.1 if the intake valve oil seal it may mostly happen on a cold start

If the afr is unplug should it throw a check engine code?
