By who? If you go back to ten years ago, the label on most of the European players was the NBA was too physica. You had Sasha Vujacic saying the 2008 Celtics play “too dirty.”

@@yagnnFootball/Soccer athletes have almost zero crossover with NBA caliber Basketball athletes. Soccer isn’t siphoning away a ton of potential basketball stars with elite athleticism. Think about it, if you’re 6’8” and super athletic, you aren’t going to be pursuing soccer. And if you’re a speedy, agile 5’11” athlete you aren’t going to be pursuing basketball. Sure occasionally you may have a Zlatan in soccer or a smaller guy in the NBA, but those are extreme exceptions

lol the only one that's not accepted is Giannis. Literally left off the MVP list for a month, not even considered top 5 and he was the first player to average 30 on over 60% shooting. Now you tell me the difference between Giannis and the other two 😏

People who have seen the NBA game for many years and watched the fundamentals that newer generations of american basketball players are not doing is apparent. We who have seen the game in the 60's , 70s, 80s know how the game has changed, and current american players lack the fundamentals via amateur (AAU) leagues, one and dones ,etc..

The best European players are playing against grown pro players since they're 15 or 16, that's why they're prepared and succeed when they're coming in the NBA. College system sucks in the US.

Euros learn to play organized basketball at early age, 10/11/12yo they are playing pick & roll, off ball, less iso more teamplay 24 second clock, this has to be the basic. AAU is open gym, its highlight factory to get hype, thats it. This american kids only learn to play organized basket on college, come on....

I think it’s how long he has been this dominant, if he keeps it up for another 3/4 years and 2 more chips then he has a real argument. Also I think it’s the era more than his skill. Basketball just looks halfhearted nowadays. Either way, he’s not top 10 yet but he can be top 10-30.
