Finally someone said it. Instead of helping the person, it's just gonna make them feel bad about themselves. Probably if you just ask what their problems are, then you might be able to give them proper advice. The 'never give up' mantra gets old. Trust me. We don't fuck around with those everyday phrases. Or at least I don't bother fucking around with them. Anyway, great video.

Hi Cole, I have been trying to grow on RU-vid on another account just like you several years back. There have been many months where I’ve felt like I haven’t gone anywhere. Maybe giving up *temporarily* may just rid me of all the stress and pressure to keep creating content to succeed. I also love the new B-Roll in this video. Thanks.

Thanks Cole for this video. Some things are crystal clear to me when I think logically about it but it is always a struggle to understand your own emotions and what at the end produces those inner voices. Your well orchestrated piece of art really helps me to understand that the inner voice that guides the passion and your way to fulfillment is one I should keep listening to.

Hey Cole, just wanted to stop by the comments and say thank you. This video has inspired me. I've been struggling to chase my passion for audio engineering, and it's been killing me but your perspective on this really sparked something in me. This time I will do something new with audio. Rather than recording and mixing for mid rappers I think I want to start my own podcast and speak on my experience surviving cancer for my first episode. I'm scared to be vulnerable, but it's better than feeling unfulfilled and doing nothing. Also, really liked your short film. Keep doing you man! your work is doing a lot of good for people and am grateful to be here and watch you evolve and grow as a creator.

A couple days ago I was walking the hike and bike trail around the river in Austin and I saw someone who was running and looked like he was pushing himself harder than he had before and could probably use some encouragement. It was only after he passed that I thought that I could have given him a high five. I was walking again today and thinking about how most people on the trail have their ear phones in and do I really want to bother people with a high five. THEN I see Cole Hastings jogging up behind me, ok... this is someone I know likes positivity and you got my first high five on the trail and I will be giving out some more.

I'm physically damaged now and I have no idea if it's gonna be like this forever or not. I have mild scoliosis but after reading a bit about it ,mild scoliosis is not enough to cause what's really been breaking me down which is tension in the right side of my perineum, knots in my right glute and left lower and upper back and a shortened right side abdomen muscles and rip flare of the left. I've tried breathing, stretching and exercise as well as went to about 5 doctors so far and discovered it's not bacterial prostatitis or the scoliosis that are causing this. As you said ,that voice is corrupted by my physical state which rapidly deteriorates my mental state.i don't know what to do and I feel like just giving up and wish for some miracle release at this point.

The timing is insane! I just decided to quit what I was studying, and then this video got uploaded. For years I struggled a lot, because my mind kept telling me what I should do and what’s good for me. So I ignored what I felt. Now I see this was conditioned by people from the past. In the past few weeks, a feeling got stronger and stronger, and said that I really need to take good care of myself first. Once I admitted this, something told me there is something way better for me out there. What it is, I don’t know yet. First I need to get healthy again, but now I know I can trust my intuition. Thanks for the video 🙏

All of life makes me feel indifferent. I’m 31 years old and I’ve been through so much heartache and struggle. I'm in that period where every time I post something it's just straight up painful. I spend hours on my videos and they don't even crack 50% watch retention. I quit the channel I'm typing on right now and started a new gaming channel and I'm working my tail off with it. The little joy I get comes from keeping that promise to myself to get the work done. That's it. I ask myself why I'm even doing this about every single day. Maybe it will all be worth it one day

When faced with resistance, should you give up? 1. Feeling Blissful agony? Don't give up 2. Recultivate your Inner Voice and listen to it's advice only when it is healthy. See through doubt, fear, insecurity 3. Does it scare you? Probably don't give up 4. Evolving does not mean giving up

This is an interesting subject. I seem to have fallen in that 1% of university students who really sucked. Initially putting in 70+ hour weeks and got little marks in return. Due to my aspergers the mind has been unable to take the feedback and correctly apply it. Because they want so much level of depth from me and there are so many assignments. I never gave up even admist sucidal ideation 6 times and getting worse in all aspects. Due to the aspergers there is no social element or should i say ever chance went away from my fingers as usual. Now i am at the final semester of my final year. Knowing the difference between a 90 (which i got in 1 paper) & a 20 is nothing once you got over telling and bragging to everyone. I do care but apathetic to the end. Writing this and after seeing this video i honestly feeling like hanging myself. I won't dw 😌 but life sucks. University is a simulation of someones life. Hence mine's going to suck. I really used everything but nothing helps me heal. Alas back to the treacle that is life. And with the hope that one day things get simpler and easier
