I'm an Australian but this doesn't offend me and at the same time it slightly does a bit. But NZ does seem really cool and I wish I could visit plus they are always left out but why not explain the reasons why Australia is also better or is just as great. As an Australian, I gotta admit that NZ has its perks. They don't have the sprawling desert landscapes that can be used for certain filming aspects, and they do get the odd Earthquake, but they also don't have Tony Abott in charge. Tony Abott is gonna be kicked out of Parliament next election. Also, yes Australia has snow fields, but theres a reason we're not known for great skiing. NZ on the other hand, is known to have amazing snow fields, in fact, they're some of the best in the Southern Hemisphere. They also have picturesque cliffs perfect for bungee jumping. And great rapids for white water rafting. NZ is great for thrill seekers.

Skystarry75 to be fair though... 'best in the southern hemisphere' is not that great of an accomplishment... all the southern hemisphere ski fields suck due to the antarctic circumpolar front causing a lack of winter storms (and therefore less snow).

_snowie_ if you look it up they both came to about the same height depending on what type you are looking at, they also seem to have simalar bone structure and feet shape, the genyornis adapted to keepin away from crocodiles and Australian animals while the Moas only natural predator, other than man is the hast egale, which was also an amazing bird, meaning that the genyornis would have the upper hand in that form but by the size of the feet, which is how the Moa protected itself ( I'm not sure about the genyornis ), the Moa would have the upper hand. They both died off very quickly and because of the same thing, people, and all I have learned from this is that genyornis are cool birds that are similar to Moa and that i should research more into them. Neither of them seem any better than the other.

Whether ya want one or not is too bad, because there always has been and always will be a rivalry, I don't think anyone wants it tbh I think it must be because we're two of the most similar countries out there and because NZ is so small, we always seem to get mixed up as being another part of Aus (like how Tasmania is just that lil chunk of land down below the rest of you somewhere), or we just get completely forgotten altogether but no one ever forgets about Aus, tbh it seems more like a jealousy thing I guess. Oh well. At least we don't have to worry about getting bitten by a fuckin snake or something if we leave our shoes outside.

I've always thought New Zealand is prettier. We have a rain forest, but then the rest is just a desert full of Kangaroos and snakes, and then some more snakes. It's also a lot more active in being up the with the times than Australia. They seem to have smarter people in the government, maybe not at the moment but at some point in time its evident they have. Australia's government has been consistently stupid for decades and it only gets worse as time goes on. I'm beginning to be convinced our Prime Minister doesn't even know what he's doing. It's also cooler, my brother's ex is from New Zealand, we had a 25 degree day and she died. Not surprised when it was 30 degrees and she just wanted to go home desperately. She was completely dying.

Chanaelle Citron That is not really true at all. Just because Australia has more tourist destinations doesn't mean it loses beauty or culture. The Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest, countless other amazing places. And for culture you can look into some of the more left-field places, eg. Newtown (give that a google serach). But hey. Why don't we just agree that they are both great countries to live in and visit! (I am from australia btw)

Being Australian, I'm not upset at the video, since it highlights the friendly rivalry between Australia and New Zealand. Yeah, we may crack jokes with each other, but they're nothing truly offensive. You could think of the bond between our two countries like a bond between siblings: we argue a bit, we compete with each other, but, at the end of the day, we're there for each other. However, I would have liked to see this video be a comparison between Australia and New Zealand, instead of 100% bias, but New Zealand is still a nice place.
