I play my AB and love it, just hit 260 with 40k stats and can solo almost anything within my range. If you know what you're doing and have a well funded character, you can have crazy DPS with 3 bursts.
aaaaaa few things - the main problems with ab imo are the mistimed burst (why, why does mm have to charge? why?) and the damage lagging behind a lot of other classes after reworks - the dress up skill in the beginner tab untransforms you too. you'll spend 99% of ur time transformed, sure, but its there for towns - other people have pointed this out but you can equip anything to transformed mode that u can reg (except weapons, thats shared). any time you equip any cash item, it asks if you want to equip to normal or transformed. its very good for fashionstory for that reason - past like level 200, your main mobbing skill is probably going to be soul seeker, its a LOT faster, if a lot more boring :,) less stress on the hands though, so the actual downsides are a damn shame, bc it's my absolute favorite control wise- fast and with a good array of skills, but not too many to worry about. nexon pls fix 🙏
Agreed with all as an AB main, except that grinding with soul seekers on reboot takes ages (but yea, that will change with the new age update to hp scale in reboot)
@@Kaneelman while getting AB recently to 210, i just mobbed with trinity the bossing skill because it hit more lines and dealt more damage. reboot has such tanky monsters (for now) that i just went with the most damaging thing i could, being in burst is when i actually got XP which compared to other classes that had the same gear at 200 were easily 2 or 1 shotting mobs in arcane river, AB struggled
I... I just burned AB as my (now highest level) class to replace my Kanna... You mean no one likes her? I love having 10 seconds of invulnerability, +120% damage for my burst rotation, double flash jump, rope lift, a low cd skill that lets me tank 100% of Max HP attacks, and a theme song that does massive damage when I'm hugging a boss!
She was my first 200 and yeah she was broken. LHC leeched my party while I stand at bottom platform spamming soul seeker. I even have to stop attacking HT or else I'll dc from all the lines and lag.
Misinformation. You can use cash shop items like any other in her dress up form. You literally didn't even open your equipment screen to find that out because there's literally 2 slots for equips. It's actually a bonus because you can have 2 sets of fashion at the same time, and you made it sound like a downside.
With the amount of complete classes in the game, Im not surprised that people dont wanna play AB lol. AB’s problems are a bit more complicated than depicted in the video, and would recommend talking to an x class main in the future. Few thoughts as an AB main: - the shield mentioned is USELESS for % hp dmg. I rather not have it on just so I have a better idea of my actual hp - AB burst feels bad: it does little dmg compared to modern remastered class, it has intense setup (stacking + lots of buffs), its not satisfying (feels more like an enhanced dpm bc 60-70% of your ba is trinity+seekers), its very extended - We need to burst for 30s (due to skills like spotlights) to even compete with other classes, we’re also a 2m class so domain + heavy 3m classes get priority in a party situation - Farming isnt even that good: roar farming is pretty mediocre in modern maple, soul seeker farming is not accessible to most players cuz they do so little dmg even when boosted - Future outlook for our class is terrible: V skill boosts are useless for us bc it boosts base dmg and none of our V skills even contribute heavily to our BA (the dmg comes from spawned soulseekers), our 4th job boosts is only trinity which is nice, but soulseekers is also a big part of our kit (fingers crossed they give it to us). Our origin sucks, long animation time, 30s buff further solidifies us as a class that needs to burst for 30s. The dmg is not the greatest either. - Outdated stats: Why do we have 30s buffs that give us temporary crit rate, status resistance, elemental resistance, these stats are pretty useless in modern maple and need to be updated. -Negatives aside, AB is an easy to play class with a single resource bar. We’re relatively tanky with dmg reductions and multiple s, and are moderately mobile. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend people play AB. But if you really wanna be a sparkly magical girl, AB discord is a nice place to get some guidance on how to play the class.
you can say this to 50% of the class in the game, ab is in a decent spot and abuse as0, just dont shine like other classes but still average which is nice
It may help a little bit, but you can enable "Display Silhouettes" in the Laboratory tab in the Options menu. You can indicate the silhouette color and thickness. It is only active in boss content.
Counter Argument: Angelic Buster main here, not giving it up for the world. Also if your damage is high enough, grinding with soul seeker is literally braindead, all you have to do is hold down 1 button.
It would probably be a good idea to at least add an annotation about you being wrong about not being able to wear NX in transformed state. You can equip any nx/face/hair to the transformed state equip inventory, not just the premade outfits.
AB wasnt horrible before all the remasters. We'll see what they do for her when they eventually do a remaster. Perhaps shes the mystery character thats next!
I listened to this video while playing as my AB main. It was pretty shocking (for me, at least) to see that there are classes with even lower playability statistics than AB.
I’m ab main in reg at 40k stat. Seeker farm is probs the best and laziest meso farming method ingame, one shotting in limia let’s you hit 40k+ on frenzy with one button basically. It gets sad later as seeker dmg falls off hard in cern Also the problem with class is that it’s mega old at this point, things have changed ingame but stayed same for ab. The shield is useless, it negates nothing but normal mob damage, does not work in bosses and all ab mains don’t even use it. The recharge system does nothing, once skills are maxed you always recharge so why even bother with it Add to that some clunkyness like not being able to double jump after up jump leaving you just to fall on the ground or the stupid burst setup. Being locked with +1 as inner requirement hurts the class too
Same as Kaiser, I think AB need a remaster. Her whole kits feel outdated, and she isn't that fun to play. Her mobbing is okay, but her bossing is so clunky that threw me off real hard.
I remember when I made mine during the april fools event and changed mine to a male character using the april fools royal cosmetic coupons since im a manly man that doesnt play female characters in mmo's

I own an AB as a boss mule, and I really enjoy it. Angelic Buster grinding is super smooth; capable of almost pulling off a mindless grind, if I had a vacuum pet to use. My only real issue with the class is the 1st-4th job progression because of the Battery skill system, which discouraged me from investing myself in the class during my first attempt (Heavenly Crash is just such a slow and cumbersome charge skill). Unlocking Affinity Heart IV and maxing it as soon as possible really helped for my gaming experience, as all battery skills can essentially be used for free at that point. When I tried 5th Job Angelic Buster for the first time, I was quite surprised with how effective Spotlight and Sparkle Burst were. The bossing? Not the BEST in my personal line-up, per se, but I adapted to its playstyle and demands pretty easily, to the point where I was pulling off deathless Lotus/Damien runs sooner than some of my other mules (despite my legion setup being more mage-focused). Transparency altering is a MUST for this class.
FOR THE LAST TIME, Her main mobbing ability is the 3rd job soul seeker ability which gets upgrades in both 4th and 5th job, the ones from her roar is both few and deals way less damage compared to self casting. YOU COULD HAVE ASKED

This is only when those 1 shot otherwise they are far too slow it is the same as saying meso explosion is the main mobbing skill for shadower or marks are the main mobbing skill for night lord GRANTED those need to be activated by using other skills so its obviously not the same... point is you need ALOT of damage for that to be true I have my AB at 260 now and I grind with roar because those seekers dont do nearly enough damage. If he asked me I would have said celestial roar > seekers.
@@namaewakira7790 That's only gonna be a problem post the 260 gap with grandis, and you're gonna know the class damn well if you get it to that point so you'll know what to expect. I know of several people that's gotten to 270 just using seekers in limina because they did not want to roar farm.

i do like your videos but please try to stop making these kind of videos, you clearly lack of information and most of the times class are unpopular because they were extremly weak or weird in the past, actual ab is very fun and its literally another class since trinity change, these kind of videos just unmotivate new players who dont know the game to try the class or started to main it, instead of this researching and showing lategame content and how the classes can work is just better
Hmm I see your point. Also I don't want to be the motivator for people to not play a class. Any class is viable. But perhaps I can fix that with a change in direction. Making a more general video instead of a why no one or everyone plays type of mood.
A "Here's Night Lord" type of video would work better for sure. Just talks about the class, what it does, what it looks like 4th job, and then 5th job. Maybe explain if it is a slow start at first then picks up or not. Just an idea, if you're thinking on it.@@coppersan
