I just had one and it made me feel empty afterwards. I felt a void inside me and I felt horrible after because I got emotionally attached even though I have prepared myself prior to engaging to the act. Before we did it, I prepared myself mentally and emotionally, constantly conditioning and telling myself that it's just a physical act but as an emotional being that I am, I couldn't help falling for him. When he left after having sex, I just cried my eyes out because I felt alone and empty, knowing that he doesn't really care. I will never do it again, it felt like I (unintentionally and inevitably) gave him a part of my soul and it hurt so bad.

Sorry to hear that Diane - This is definitely something that plenty of women experience, and great example of why there are women who avoid one night stands. It's not for everyone.

This is exactly what I feel after every casual sex encounter or if the guy decides not to continue ths relationship after a 1 night stand. Every time I feel terrible pain and heartbreak. I wish guys knew this and would be more considerate.

Maybe it's because you would feel something to this guy. Because many women have one-night stands. And they don't feel like that. One-night stands don't have to be with a guy that you don't trust. It can even be with a friend. I like one-night stands or FB's. And usually, I am the one who doesn't get attached.

I personally fell down the rabbit hole 🕳 🐇 about sex itself. You might wanna do a massive amount of research because, for me, after learning about sex itself. It's essentially a bonding mechanism, and you CAN destroy your own bonding mechanism, which is why you see a lot of women these days sleeping around around and then later very oddly they don't get married or stay in a long term relationship, which my personal theory concluding that's why in this day and age we see alot of "Karen" running around and let's not forget that "one night stand" is nothing new infact society accepted it during the 80's so keep that mind! Today, we literally can see the aftermarket of those people who engage in that.

I've had a few one night stands and I don't think they are that great. Personally I prefer to go to brothels where I can have a fun time with a professional and who will make my money's worth. Besides, I'm not into clubs.

@@SchoolOfAttraction I agree, which is something many people just don't want to accept. It's just my lifestyle and I want to enjoy my youth and sex life while it lasts. Here in Germany brothels are legal and it's regulated, which is why it's safe.

Yup totally. I mean Different Strokes for different folks. People are different. With me no onenight stands, no Friends with benefits bull shit or casual . I'm only intimate in a relationship or if I really love and care about someone .. And it's really hard today to date now because it's almost most guys are expecting sex, so I rather just be single focus on what I'm doing and if that means being celibate for a little bit it's okay.

I prefer friends with benefits. Especially if he is handsome, kind, and cute :D. They are better than relationships.
