While watching this video I was actually thinking about the amount of exploitation that occurs with workers. Thank you so much ma'am for creating such useful content.👍
While watching the video, I was amazed to see how ur smile not only makes legal knowledge fun but also gives such positive vibes that my day goes so well.☺️ Thank you so much for that.
While watching video only one thought came to my mind as a Bengali: why we lost such fertile land as Bangladesh as it was the richest state of ancient India when whole of India was Golden Bird.
Bangladesh has always been inclined towards Textiles as there are plenty of cotton and jute industry since pre independence and that's also one of the reasons for clothing industry to invest there as the labour forces are almost trained in that sector
@@farabi0013 Actually Bangladesh did produce cotton and still do but in a lower rate. From pre historic time Bangladesh and Dhaka was the biggest textile hub,the most luxurious cloth ever made named "muslin" was made in Dhaka and it's cotton plants can only be produced in Dhaka to it's required quality because of Dhaka's humidity, temperature and geographical location
No I guess..as they'll be promoted in 2026. UN has scheduled it and given 5 year transition period... till then they are LDC only and can claims benifits.
Ma'am, I didn't want to say this but I can't stop myself saying this that you are really beautiful and your voice and presentation is just awesome. I never scroll down without finishing the video. The content that you pick to describe always has a weigh.
I was studying in amity university in noida in 2004 after finishing my engineering in Chennai. My college principal in amity complained you Bangladeshis are illegally working as Rickshawallas. Later I talked to all Rickshawallas in 2/3 sectors. They were bangla speaking Indians from West Bengal. You Indians have have very poor understanding of language and culture. And grossly indoctrinated. Nothing personal to you. My overall observation.
@@zahidanowar8059 your anecdote doesn't prove anything bro. So just chill. Your "principal" doesn't represent our society that may have multi faceted prejudices and shortcomings as well as a nuanced view of our environment that outsiders can't afford.
@@vee2106 let me give you another anecdote. In my 4 years of engineering In Chennai. I found only one Bangladeshi who migrated from Bangladesh that too 50 years ago. Indians overall should stop thinking countries like Nepal Bangladesh as places where all our domestic workers, Rickshawallas, security guards come from. 25% tourists in India are from Bangladesh, 50% medical tourists are from Bangladesh. We just surpassed you per capita income. Ouch.
@@vee2106 82 crore indians rely on handouts from government of 5 kg of anaz every month. By the word poor you must be indicating India which houses more poor people than African continent.
I know that fact.... Consumerism never think about their labour and their rights... They just take the leverage of the poverty of the labour force and want profit. But when the economy grows like China the companies also forced to increase their wages and that's why they shifted their manufacturing units to least developed countries like Bangladesh...
Your voice and expression feels like family member speaking and giving us knowledge- u r great keep it up- make some thing about spiritual god realised saint
Bangladesh is now a developing country. Due to contribution of Bangladeshi women in Bangladesh economy Bangladesh has more GDPpercapita than India and Pakistan both.
@@infoblast422 That person talked about percapita income man. Which means an avarage bangladeshi earns more than an average india. Whereas in our case richer is becoming richer and poor is becoming more poor
@DEVVRAT MISHRA abe chutiye saale tum log to vhuke nhange ho, 50 rupi dhari pe log kam karte hain to tumhara GDP itne gand pe kw hai?? The real fact is : bangladesh is not a terrorist country, And India is number 1 terrorist country in the planet 😂😂 rss bjp
@DEVVRAT MISHRA Funny how you make up narratives to fit your mentality about other countries.7/10 certified green garments factory are in Bangladesh which are awarded for having the Best environment for workers. The wages of the workers are in good rates with many privileges including free healthcare, education, childcare, low interest loans provided by the Garment organization to abide by the regulations set by EU which is the reason why BD is able to export in Europe abiding by their standards and thats the same reason BD's per Capita income is more than both Pakistan and India as the living standard of people of all classes are getting better
I think labourers don't be exploited because they have no more options to do others job .. everything depends upon one thing ie.Textile industry and their population so high at area if some people doesn't then large remaining population will definitely do..even large percentage of population migrates to other countries .... Labourers demand less than supply .. supply of labours are much high so there's easily available cheap cost labours 🙏
Didi, bangladesh india se cotton ka kheti krna sikha aur aaj india se aage nikal gaya h cotton production me.this is the main reason of being a garment producer in asia
That’s not the fact bro. Actually if u become the king of the world still some people would not accept you. Ask the girl to visit Bangladesh now & walk every inches keeping her eyes open. Then lets go her country together to see how reach they are...
@@saifurrahman3357 it may be a developing country now,... But still it's not officially recognized as a developing country,..... And the video is made on official data
All I was thinking about throughout the video was How much their environment is affected by this . Textile industry is the second most pollution industry in the world , if it helps in economical advancement but it's definitely bad for the environment .
Textiles industry is the stepping stone to industrialisation. China has 3 crore textiles workers. Bangladesh has 50 Lakh. USA still today has 20,000 seamstresses sewing army uniforms, parachutes, bridal wear, suits. Without textiles it’s very difficult to employ billion Indian villagers who are yet to join formal workforce. Environmental considerations comes secondary to economics. As you industrialise you clean up.
my first thought was how do those ppl make do with lesser income, then as the video progressed i thought maybe ‘is it that MAYBE basic necessities are also cheaper there, so it's easier for them to access their basic needs’? but smwhat i also thought that what if they're exploiting their workers & u just confirmed my fear by saying the last sentence.
