I tried 09c for the past month, coming from T05. I'm a vet player who has represented Ireland at this level multiple times. I adjusted quickly to 09c, which has many fine qualities and can generate loads of spin. It's better than D05, which I tried two years ago but switched back to Tenergy. The issue with 09c is that it's less forgiving than T05. It's great if you have the fitness to play full shots on FH and BH all the time. But that's impossible for most players and as you get older you need some help, and T05 gives you that, especially on containment shots away from the table or when you are off balance. I even won a tournament recently with 09c, where I was seeded 6th. But it's not for me and I switched back to T05 (both sides) which I believe is better for my game. My blade is a TB ALC which is fantastic. One other feature of 09c, which I believe is important, is that it's relatively heavy, and I found this to be a factor against good choppers. In contrast, the T05 on the same blade is more comfortable and maneuverable, which facilitates more venomous loops against choppers. I'm glad I tried 09c out in case I missed something that might have given me an extra edge. In the end, it's back to what I'm comfortable with.

What are you thinking this set up (that I will maybe going to get): Butterfly Viscaria, Tenengy 05 Hard forehand and Dignics 05 backhand? Or should Dignics be forehand? I'm offensive player, strong forehand, not yet so strong backhand.
