@@BeefBoss2010 best dreamworks production. i thought it was so obvious that i didnt bother mentioning it because i didnt want to insult your intellegence
the penguins of madagascar deserve the puss in boots treatment. imagine a super spy thriller with the same animation and writing style of puss and boots
This is like unironically in my top 3 favourite movies, the humor is so in my lane and it knows its a silly penguin movie like you mentioned. Watching this movie blasted never gets old
Thanks for giving this movie the respect it deserves. Very underrated DreamWorks movie, IMO! It’s not quite my favourite Madagascar movie, but I still love it! The Penguins rock! 🐧🐧🐧🐧 “Just smile and wave, boys. Smile and wave.”
I easily had the best time watching this movie, out of all the movies. So much that when a clip popped up on my recommended I actively searched for an analysis video.
I think that Madagascar shows are way better than all of the movies - both the penguins of madagascar and all hail king julien :P you're right, the penguins movie is the best, but their show is like 100 times better
Madagascar, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and Penguins of Madagascar are the best in the series. Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, on the other hand, has its own charm but can't hope to compare with the other three.
definitely not, it's an excellent movie, but it's not better than madagascar 3 and not even better than madagascar 1. just because he doesn't have Alex he already loses many "points"
The third was the best (bar the penguins) I have the most fond memories of that one especially the the Firework musical sequence. And I'm really not a fan of the second. it is good but not the best and certainly the worst of the 3 (but its kind of the worst of the best so still pretty good). Moto Moto is kind of hot though. I will admit the bit where the penguins ram the old lady with the truck in the second is one of the greatest things ever
Bruh the first movie he's an idiot that shakes his butt and nothing else, the 2nd he's ok at best, and the third hes basically drunk after getting shot with a dart.
@@calvinmcmillen2729 Still an iconic character that arguably deserves a lot of the praise that people give him. Just like the penguins he carries these movies with some of his best moments
I personally think the Penguins Of Madagascar Movie’s disappointing. A lot of ideas were pulled from the show that film took its name after, and frankly, the show did all of these ideas, but it was better. The movie just tries to make the Penguins feel like characters, rather than comic reliefs, just like the show. But the difference between both this and the show, is that the Penguins were still funny, even when they had character arcs in some episodes. Here, only Skipper retains this, while Private has the driving narrative, meanwhile Kowalski and Rico don’t do anything in the film. Not only that, but Dave the Octopus is just Dr. Blowhole, but without the charm. And the North Wind are just forgettable. As for what’s the best Madagascar film… it’s Escape 2 Africa. Moto Moto is easily our lord & savior.
Whoever says number 3 is the best one IS literally insane, but you are right, Penguins is the best out of the franchise (not just cause of Benedict 😊) also i do not know the song
Well, not to me it wasn't. This movie was forgotten by some people because of the embarrassment disappointment Madagascar 3. Because people think the third Madagascar movie is the best one, but it's not.
Sorry but I will have to disagree. This movie was supposed to help bridge the gap between the Madagascar Movies and the Penguins T.V. show in my opinion. That is why a lot of people (adults and children) didn't like this movie. It didn't bridge the gap instead literally contradicting both sources on things. That is why I call this movie a failure.
Hell if they wanted to use this universe they could have still use this theme but make it a few generations earlier. Don't use Skipper and company but use Buck Rockgut to prove the capabilities of Penguins but that would require actual creativity and knowing the sources to a degree.
