Why People Love To Hate 6.5 Creedmoor 

I don't hate the 6.5 Creedmoor, but its popularity is kind of confusing to me. I don't have much experience with it, but I can see why people like the the idea of having something right between a .243 and .308 Winchester with a little shorter case. Are those benefits worth it to me for what I do? Not realy, but I hunt heavy northern whitetails and my shots are usually within 250 yards. The thing that absolutely annoys me is the guys who have to talk unholy levels of shit on proven cartridges because they bought a 6.5 Creedmoor, and had to go full fanboy. There have been fads for years, but .30-30, .30/06, .270, and plenty of 'old' cartridges are still favorites for a reason.

Simply because the 260 and 6.5x55 were all ready out there. And can do anything the 6.5c can do. Its marketing hype and nothing more

Or use a 257w thats less wind effected and that a lot faster

Nobody hates the 6.5 creedmore, just nobody hates BMW's . They just hate the tossers that use them 😂

Thx for the vid 👍 As usually no no-nonsens. Hate? Nope! I recon all the things you mentioned are true. Good things. Only thing is the barrel life. You can sometimes have signs of wear after 500 shots. I'd take a 6,5x55 - especially if you load yourself.

I've been playing around with the 6.5 ARC I bought a super cheap upper from bear creek arsenal and it shoots pretty Damn straight outta the box
