High power units are just spark gap tesla coils systems producing a timed sine wave, the best are square wave systems with close coils with many lines of flux and this will have a far better penetration on the weber line, and typically these will be lower power units, remember 10% of the cost is the unit and 90% profit/ marketing. So a big units called high power they charge the moon, and the little units ( the good ones can't ). I'm manufacturing my own coils and matts now, even for horse hoofs I use quad coils to concentrate the magnetic lines to the center of the hand held unit and have some on trial to check results, can make units with fixed frequency and fancy units with power and frequency adjustments and timer controls, all tested with set height polarity and Gauss recorded and wave form recorded on an Oscilloscope to test prove units output before shipping for the customer.
The "clumpy cell" hypothesis ain't cuttin' it. The health industry across the board has a sordid and horrible history of quackery with regard to pushing useless and often outright harmful modalities, often at exorbitant prices. Hence all of us involved in this area of endeavor should take the matter of establishing credible arguments on behalf of safety and efficacy very seriously indeed.
He mentions not a single word on clinical trials, medical journal entries or opinions from licensed medical professionals other than "therapists. use it" too vague. And I agree that his poor ability to articulate his explanations raises red flags. Much more research should be undertaken by anyone considering this stuff.
I am always sceptical of people that are making commission from the product they talking about especially when you have not even mentioned the gauss that this device puts out. I checked their website and could not find it there either. Having read Dr. Pawluk's book on PEMF it seems that you would need at least 100 GAUSS for local treatment and a lot higher for deeper treatment. So what gauss is this mat? Thanks.
To your point mat are different but it’s a great tool for home use. It wouldn’t be possible to have a PEMF machine at home unless you are willing to invest 40K+. Mats are note affordable and have shown benefits. It is quite similar with hyperbaric products. It’s been long thought that solely high pressure chamber have therapeutic effects. Yet, much lower pressures used in soft chambers approved for home use, are very beneficial as we are learning in the last 20 yrs. Same situation with PEMF , there will always be experts who would claim that lower output devices don’t work. Yes, clinical evidence suggests otherwise
@@hyperbaric Yes but we know that soft chambers are creating a specific pressure so there is something meaningful and there are studies with soft chambers at 1.3. You can actually get a FlxxPulse PEMF for not much more than $1000 and you know what the output is (up to 300 GAUSS). Recommending a product without stating the power output is dubious. Please provide the information so we can make an informed decision.

The experience of PEMF relies on sensation and cellular stimulation, which is different for every individual, every condition, machine, and accessory. Truth be told, more gauss is not always better. while the intensity of the magnetic field (GAUSS) is important, the delivery system is key.

I've heard of only a couple of cases of this being done, mostly if not exclusively on the low intensity, frequency resonant side of the PEMF spectrum. Perhaps a device that runs on battery power.
