Hello Dr. Marsha, I appreciated your video on COPD and HBOT. I have a question: Does someone in the late stages of COPD need to have the CO2 retention test if using only a mild pressure chamber (1.3ATA)?

Thank you. Question🙋♀️ I did 25 sessions at 1.3 and was not feeling the changes . I turned up my pressure from 1.4 to 1.6 and hoping to see feel notice some differences and feel my body healing . 13 sessions in. For some people does it take 60 plus sessions to see feel notice the healing ? Would it be wise for me to increase to 1.8 for better results ? Thanks for all your helpful content ❤
The "clumpy cell" hypothesis ain't cuttin' it. The health industry across the board has a sordid and horrible history of quackery with regard to pushing useless and often outright harmful modalities, often at exorbitant prices. Hence all of us involved in this area of endeavor should take the matter of establishing credible arguments on behalf of safety and efficacy very seriously indeed.
I love this, I have been using NBOT for several years and it has turned my life around! 5.5 years ago I was suddenly struck with now diagnosed PMR and I couldn't take care of myself, could barely walk or use my upper extremities. I went to my ND not knowing what was going on and he asked me to do 30 min to 1.5 hours of high flow oxygen treatment before I left and I have never looked back. Within 6 weeks I was much better. I still take daily 30 min "oxygen naps" , I have recommended this therapy to others but its been pretty inaccessible to many so I am so glad to have seen this podcast and found this channel! Thank you for your information!
Great video, very curious about that telomere length increase. Does that research show one off effect or is it repeatable? E.g. someone did a course of X session with specific routine and increased telomeres by 20%. Can they do the same routine again and get another increase? Or is it one off effect you can use only once in your life?
@hyperbaric Do you guys have an online version of this course or a recording? I am planning to buy a chamber and want to know what is best for me and how can I use it for my conditions. I don't need certification, just knowledge.
I walked up 6 flights of stairs bad idea being a long covid patient now I feel so weak. It hurt me doing that for my energy level and my weakness. YOu have to pace yourself
I have one and getting good results but I dont agree with him saying you vcan feel sensations while on it. I dont feel a thing but do get good feeling results. Comments like that make it sound too much like witchcraft when people try and dont feel any sensations
I'm curious to know if there is any recommendations as to how one should breathe during a dive. I've been told "essentially normally but a little deeper than you normally would". I understand though that pace and pattern greatly affect oxygen absorption in normal atmosphere; surely that's also true during a dive. (?)
@@hyperbaric fair enough -- so no need to do a short hold at the top, some variation of box breathing, etc.? I've sort of fallen into a rhythm over the last few sessions where I breathe normally, deeper, and then try to expand lungs extra at the top... irrespective I would think there would be some room for optimization there
HBOT can be used a complementary therapy for chronic inflammatory response syndrome. We can see from the research that HBOT may decrease proinflammatory cytokine production and the release of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α)
Hi, I am planning to go to 1.5 atmospheric pressure chamber with 97% oxygen. I want help with tendon recovery and increasing my longevity. I don't have any medical condition and am an athlete, currently have a bit of issue with overloaded achilles tendon. What is the protocol you'd recommend?
Hi Joe. We cannot recommend protocols over the internet, but we do offer consults online if you'd like to explore this further. Here is a link: calendly.com/drmakeeva/hyperbaric-consultation-1
So glad I found this video because I have been using a hydrogen maker that I breathe prior to 90 mins in my soft shell HBOT. Brown patches of hair are replacing my grey. Should I consider using an oxygen concentrator for added benefits? 😀
High power units are just spark gap tesla coils systems producing a timed sine wave, the best are square wave systems with close coils with many lines of flux and this will have a far better penetration on the weber line, and typically these will be lower power units, remember 10% of the cost is the unit and 90% profit/ marketing. So a big units called high power they charge the moon, and the little units ( the good ones can't ). I'm manufacturing my own coils and matts now, even for horse hoofs I use quad coils to concentrate the magnetic lines to the center of the hand held unit and have some on trial to check results, can make units with fixed frequency and fancy units with power and frequency adjustments and timer controls, all tested with set height polarity and Gauss recorded and wave form recorded on an Oscilloscope to test prove units output before shipping for the customer.
My Friend last week did his first treatment of the hard shell at Hyperbaric PHP after driving down from Richmond VA since we cannot find a hard chamber treatment anywhere else for him and his J&J vaccine Covid arm and other problems. In that two-hour treatment his pain is gone, now can raise his arm and has strength back in his left hand. Slept that night on his left side for the first time in many years since all the pain was gone. We are getting more treatments until end of August to see what else it does.
@@hyperbaric I don't really see what would dictate the limit. What I really wanted to know is whether the deeper effects could be attained in less than six weeks at higher pressures.
@@markbr5898 It dictates the limit b/s there is a certain oxygen tolerance in the human body. Your question is a little general. In some cases, yes. For example stem cell mobilization occurs faster at deeper pressures, so you will get an effect faster at 2ATA than at 1.3 ATA. On the other hand, neurological conditions do not respond well to higher pressures at all, so going deeper would be counterproductive.
@@hyperbaric Thanks Dr Masha for the clarification. It is interesting that different conditions respond best to different pressures. I suspect that in most hospital multichambers, most clients are "thrown in together", without too much consideration of what is being treated.
Have you seen the new research on using ivermectin for eliminating symptoms of long COVID (2 week study)? So far it requires regular dosing but they are looking at creating long term treatment and titrating down dosage and frequency.
I had to make my husband agree to let me stay home once a month. Pure rest. I feel a bit guilty for not doing anything but I have found it improves everything so much.
