Excuse me for saying this but I believe you to be an agent pushing an anti THC agenda. Do you agree with me when I state the FACT that the human brain has multiple receptors designed specifically for the uptake of the THC Molecule? Do you agree with me when I say that everyone has some THC naturally occurring in their Bodies? You see Bird Boy, these are all PROVEN FACTS. So do you acknowledge these FACTS or not?

To anyone watching this. I am a 19yo who has struggled with drug abuse for 5 years and my family has struggled with it for generations. Im here to let you know that you dont need the strongest will power. you dont need the right people around you either. All you need to do is take a step back in your own life. Look at yourself without any filters, and tell me. What is it that you see. Do you see someone making the most of their life, trying to fix the issues that pop up into their situations. Or Do you see Somone Smoking to avoid the feelings of dread and disatisfaction with your life. Ive been struggling with so many things in life. Im not going to say my position is worse than yours, because tbh its probably not. But there really is nothing else to say to the people trying to quit. You Need to really understand that no one. and i mean NO ONE is going to step forward and help you. So you must do it yourself.... just btw this was all typed in one string of thought so i apologize for incoherency if there is any.

Amen to all of this! I quit and relapsed 4 times, at the end of my 20 year addiction to weed, before I finally got to where I am now. I have officially been sober off weed for 1 year and 2 months. Every time I relapsed I learned so much about the addiction, about withdrawals and about myself. Depending on how addicted you are, the withdrawal period can really suck and be so dang hard. I knew this going into quitting this last time and that helped me. It’s so important to have people in your corner that you can talk to as you’re withdrawing and having hard moments. Have things you can do to keep your mind and body busy. Take really good care of yourself. Take naps during the day, because sleeping at night is almost impossible. It can be done, you just have to get past that first 3-4 month withdrawals period. Keep saying no. Even when you think you’re in the clear, you will still have moments of your brain trying to talk you into smoking. Don’t do it! You will relapse from one hit, If you were previously addicted. Just keep saying no. And that moment will pass and you will be proud of yourself. You will realize you can live life without marijuana.

@@RaduMadalin-mc1tp I 100% agree with you. I have many friends who smoke weed. I have still been around them but not as much as I used to. And I definitely don’t go around them when I know I’m struggling internally. It’s not worth it to me to relapse. I don’t want to go through that again. I can live without weed and I keep reminding myself of that. I’m always going to assume that one hit will bring me back to where I was.

3 days, 3 hours, 42 minutes, 10 seconds! Honestly has not been that bad so far! The cravings have definitely been relatively strong I cannot lie, but when you've got the right attitude about quitting, it doesn't matter. The cravings don't matter. They can easily be brushed off. Addiction is not rational so you cannot rationalize with the intrusive thoughts. You just need to do it. Or in this case, not do it. Not pick up a vape. Appreciate the motivation! @@_icscata_💪

I quit smoking weed on 9/27/23. I was a daily smoker for about the last 6.5 years. Mostly at night, but there were absolutely times when I was abusing it and smoking throughout the entire day. Thankfully, it's been relatively easy. I'm beginning to remember my dreams! I haven't dreamt in years! I own my business and weed was impacting my motivation, self-worth, and discipline in doing the things that I KNOW are necessary to run a successful business. Yesterday while at work, I began to out of the blue have ideas flooding into my head about how to improve my marketing strategies and get my name out there. Weed made my life much less boring while high, but it also made me extremely lazy and weak each time I smoked and I realized I would neglect daily chores and my life would be a mess if I didn't quit. So I decided to quit despite knowing my life would be boring but overall better balanced. Basically what I mostly learned is that you can't always have everything in life and you have to make hard decisions but ultimately there is always one decision which is better (or less worse than the other).

Your videos really helped me. I have tried to quit several times and relapsed, the last 3 times I had severe withdrawal symptoms (prolly due to habitual high thc edibles recently vs flower) and before your videos, I didn't know that was A Thing, so I just felt like crap and used and stopped feeling like crap in the immediate, but the overall issues of course remained. Your videos educated me and I was able to make a plan and taper down my dosage over a week which GREATLY reduced my symptoms. I'm 2 weeks sober tomorrow and have no desire to use rn. I've used daily for the last 20 years and started using 30 years ago. Everyone is different- your body, your habits etc - but having information that realistically broke down what happens in my body and brain during the process made me able to plan and execute my plan instead of waiting to feel motivated. Game changer. I'm definitely still in the active recovering stage but I feel confident about sobriety in a way I haven't for years. Thanks! This man knows of what he speaks.

Yep, it’s because many people complain and bitch about the smallest withdrawal. Then people develop “Reddit hive mind” on cannabis quitting and withdrawal and constantly focus on it, so when they are actually in a minor withdrawal, it seems worse. Just remember, 20 years ago nobody EVER complained about weed withdrawals. True addicts just need any excuse not to quit… at the end of the day. I’ve done it myself.

I was over tired and I wasn’t in the right headspace, that addictive voice got to me and made me think that if I hit the vape, I would be able to easily fall asleep. I pulled out my vape and hit it 3 times. I immediately realized my mistake, got mad at myself, and put it away. I hope this doesn’t happen again, but just for anyone else reading this, slip ups can happen. Just don’t let it turn into a full relapse. I've decided to try cut down now and see how that goes as last time it sent me borderline suicidal as I really had no plan in action... it is scary quitting, but despite the sadness I never felt that alive and present for years. This time I wanna lower my dopamine highs and go from there. I've gotten rid of all social media bar RU-vid, cutting out p*rn and just forcing myself to the gym. Im utterly convinced this is the way forward to happiness for me. At least short term till I find better footing. Weed is bad when consumed on such a level, but can be used in good way and be beneficial... I don't see that with things like adult content and alcohol tbh.

I quit both nicotine and marijuana already in 2016. It saved me so much money. I enjoy my new dog. I don’t mind having no friends. Realise yourself that being addicted is the place ‘they’ want you to be in. Don’t give in. Don’t be depending on anything. If I can quit ( as a heavy aka constant user) everybody can.

I have been a daily user of pot for 40 years and I’m 54 years old. I was scared to try to give up thinking I would fail miserably. I’ve had enough and I want it out of my life for good so now I’ve made the first step. I’m only on day 5 of quitting but that is a huge achievement for me as I’m basically doing it all on my own due to being an introvert and not having much of a support base. I’m not sleeping, I have these weird nightmares every night and I’m only averaging 2 hours sleep per night. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life but I’m determined to keep pushing through. I’ve finally handed my life over to Jesus and the shame of me continually sinning has to stop now! Tonight will be the first night I use sleeping pills to try and get a full nights sleep. Thank you for your videos and please pray for me as I will be praying for all of you guys going through the same thing.

Being here is proof in itself that we are on the right track. Knowing we need resources like this to help us stay strong. Weed is a more subtle destroyer than alcohol because it usually seems to be less harmful and we are often blinded by this so that we don't realize the damage it is really doing to our health and finances etc...

Quitting seems impossible right now for me because: I've been sober for almost 3 years when I was 19-21, right now I came back for 2 years and I always felt that there is something good for me in weed. There is a chance I am right even though It destroys me in every other way possible. I'm doing psychological examinations and AdHD is suspected which can't be diagnosed without me getting sober. I know I can because I did it a few years ago but every try makes me weaker I feel. Watching right now your guide hopefully that will help. It's crazy that because one day a few years ago weed was able to boost my ability to focus and ignore the world around me, so as to increase my performance, I manipulated myself into believing that's the cure for me. Getting best grades at school under influence really made me feel like I was built different. Right now I am far from being able to attend lessons at Uni or work. Anxiety and lack of self-esteem driving me crazy...

Weed withdrawal is an interesting thing because other then the appetite, sleep disturbances and rare conditions, cannabis withdrawal is mostly mental but it can be one of the hardest drugs to get off of these days due to availability and price. I cold turkey kicked a pretty hardcore oxy/dilaudid habit years ago so I sort of understand the most extreme depths of withdrawal. I recently did a 6 week thc cleanse and aside from the lack of sleep I didn’t have many issues but going into it I was very mentally prepared. I’m trying to stop again but I’m dreading it this time and actually having a hard time with it. My advice is when the momentum is going good, don’t blow it.

I'm grateful for your videos. I take about 5-10 mgs of thc a day and have for the past 6 years to combat depression. It is more convenient than an SSRI because if I don't feel like I need it, I don't take it. SSRI's need to be taken everyday. Plus, I'm still able to experience a wide range of emotions whereas with an SSRI I feel flat, neither true joy nor sadness. I'm 49 years old. I don't know if my depression is circumstantial or chemical. I've experienced trauma from an early age which kind if set me up for having a certain mindset - when you experience true evil at a young age, it's an eye opener that colors everything that follows. But, my mom is manic depressive, so maybe my depression is hereditary, I don't know. I'd like not to have to take anything and just feel normal, but if I go without taking something to alter my brain chemistry, I tend down a dark path in my mind and it effects my ability to function along with a negative impact on my relationships. This is why I started taking something to begin with. I was able to hold out my whole life without taking anything until I got to my early 40's. Cannabis really helps me. I'm able to work and relax and see that although the world is crumbling around humanity, there are still the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, patience and kindness available. When my mind goes dark, cannabis lifts me and helps me to see this reality. At the same time, I don't talk to people about it (with the exception probably of what I'm doing here). I don't recommend weed to anyone because, really, it's better to live without any substance that interrupts our brain's function. If you can find a way to do that, that's amazing. I hope one day not to need anything. At present, it's a matter of survival for me. Please pray for me.

Thank you for sharing with us! I hope that you will be able to overcome the trauma and fully recover from it. Addiction or the fear of missing out on something, perhaps my crutch. Anyway, I’m finished.
