After I had the knuckle sandwich maduro I fell in love with the box press. Current favorite is the tabernacle toro/robusto wish it was boxed. Torpedo is too short for me. As a man I feel confident with a nice box in my mouth 😂
I love this channel. Concise description of the difference. My preference is different from cigar to cigar. I really enjoy Oliva serie G Cameroon which is box pressed.
I tend to go more for the smaller cigars when time isn’t a factor I’ll usually have 2. The only box press I really find myself revisiting is the Rock Patel vintage 1990
Legit question. You've said 80-90% of flavor profile comes from wrapper but box-pressed with same blend & wrapper taste different (which I agree completely that box tastes different) But if so much of flavor is found in wrapper, why would profile change so much if 80-90% of flavor is based on wrapper?
Fairly new to cigars but I found my favorites to be robusto extra, Churchill, toro, torpedo, shark, and anything box pressed. Love a box pressed torpedo like the encore form EPC
This is crazy, I got into pipes over the last year so I haven't smoked a cigar in right around one. Haven't been watching content on it either. Despite having spent so much time learning about cigars, I had absolutely no idea how many people were so keen on box pressed cigars.
New to cigars and went out and got me a nice patron box pressed cigar been waiting to smoke it till i can have some time to savor it ive heard great things about patron cigars up until niw ove been smoking cheap factory cigars and some EP Carrillo
I enjoy a standard rolled cigar as they’re a little more sturdy and able to handle some abuse, where as I have chewed up a few box pressed smokes in my time.. however if you want a guaranteed never gonna be plugged smoke, boxed pressed is the way to go. In my opinion it’s why Padrons are always going to have a good draw.
This video popped up as I'm smoking a Camacho Box Pressed Connecticut cigar. Normally, I smoke Camacho Connecticut cigars and figured I'd try my first box pressed. I noticed the flavor was different and wondered why. Now I know.
