The reason why Saitama is like this is because his limiter was removed and he went beyond his universe so every character in his universe or object in his universe will be very vulnerable against him but we must confuse that with other plot stories. In Saitama’s fight with Garou, it’s stated that the growth is because of intense emotions, which was obviously caused by Genos’ death. He doesn’t normally grow in battle. Also, even if Saitama could grow, Beerus could genuinely end the battle instantly.

It's like fighting a time traveler who already fought someone that's yet to be announced and won, it's assumed but that's basically the entire gag when fighting OPM. He already won before the story was ever being told or put to the panel. The ONLY way to defeat OPM is to travel through time at a point before he was ever born or break his limiter but that's only speculation if he can still exist outside of space and time. That's the issue with fantasy matches, it's all speculation as to whether a power setting will stop said op.

And if his power is finite he cannot beat beerus as his power is 4 dimensional which is more than infinitely times the power any 3rd dimensional character ( saitama ). This makes saitmas growth in battles ( which debunkes saitama infinite power ) irrelevant against beerus.

@@Believe_347 that was a confirmed bellow 25% Beerus, also I literally said how, he upscales mui top Goku who is easily mid to high multiversal because of simply how many multipliers he got on top of his god absorbed base even without taking into account his constant training, and at the current point of the manga, Goku and Vegeta have yet to surpass him, so yeah he is EASILY high end multiversal or even outerversal, we can't know since he's never went all out yet.

Considering that in the end of the movie beerus said that he didn’t even use 10% of his power for the whole fight ( it wasn’t 70% like translated in the movie this got confirmed by an actual translator) ,which easily makes him multiversal and beyond. Beerus beats saitama with speed alone and it is not even close.
