What about hangouts? Same thing? Every time a guy tries to scam me, they ask to move to one of those. TY for answering this, I was always curious.

its also free long distance calls and texting at all hours of the night. Once I deleted it, I slept thru the night.

OH MY GOD...so that's why everyone tells you to get it. I had no idea, thank god for you guys...I'm glad I never got it just because some stranger told me to, to communicate with them. You wouldn't imagine how many of these people tell you to get it. 🤣

Never used it but what's app does have a reporting and blocking system and if there's an issue report the assholes they deserve it .you are protecting others . 👍🇬🇧🌞📴

You can actually EASILY report someone on Whatsapp. A chat log will be sent to Whatsapp

Yes that’s right. Very often their FB account gets reported for fraud and shut down soon after creating it. That’s why they always ask you to switch to other platforms before that happens and will come up with all kinds of excuses as to why they want you to switch.

Reminds me of all those crypto dudes on Tinder lol. They always pressure me to give them my phone number and then they'd either unmatch me or delete their profiles.

LINE means they're not in America. I use it in Thailand as most businesses do use it.

Also watch out for when they use a certain name on FB but then use a completely different name on WhatsApp or whatever other platform they ask you to switch to. 🚩 🚩

I have a question? What is safer WhatsApp or Google Chat's? But on WhatsApp there is a report button... Don't they follow thru?

Neither is 'safe' from scammers, but I think google chat is worse because you just need an email to use it, not even a number. the best thing to do is recognize red flags and immediately block and ignore scammers

Absolutely,and they say they can't be on their phone because of their job .but IF YOURE DOWNLOADING WHATSAPP.on your phone ,you're still using your phone ..smh but the scammers don't think you'll ask n know ..next time they ask yah to download it ask them why they can't use their own number
