Wish my fellow Americans understood the importance of life like that. And it would be different if we had a largely fruits and vegetables diet... But we don't, as a country. It's cruelly grown. Cruelly processed. Meat. AND they don't even recognize that it was ever alive. It's hard to live in between... Especially when their diet, or lack of one, is the root of why they are falling apart. Nit quite the same, but in the beef industry we use electric stimulation. Allowing glycogen to convert to lactic acid quicker. This in turn drops the pH and hopefully fall through a specific pH vs temp window. If it falls through that window and we get 5.30 to 5.70 ultimate pH, you have the best potential beef. Each industry has their way of producing potential quality

Soak your fish in water bath in fridge for 2 days changing water about every 3 hours. Fish will taste amazing. For Mahi Mahi which taste like shit I suggest just throwing it back and trying for something edible

They stabbed the fish in the brain first. It's dead. After that they send the wire down the spinal cord which just demolishes all the nerves which is what causes the twitching. The fish was already dead.
