Two questions, noticed that you have the Morimoto HID kit. Would it be possible to do a comparison of the hid vs LED 3.0 one in each headlight? Also not just when lights are turned on initially but after the lights of warmed up for about 5 to 10 minutes? Also I noticed you had the 2.0, did you noticed a significant upgrade going to the 3.0 is?
The fogs come out the front with a single 8mm bolt if you pry the trim ring off with a screw driver. In my opinion it's easier than removing the headlight assembly.
Great video! Would these work as low beams in a 2018 nissan maxima with halogen/ projector housing? And I want the fog lights to match! But in the 2018 it has 2 bulbs per fog light reflector housing! So can I use the 3.0s for both?
Nice video! Very informative! Why do you install them in your fog lights and not the regular headlight housing? Sorry for the question. I don’t know a lot about automotive lights. I want to upgrade from halogens to LED in my 2019 F150.
Are those Mini D2S 5.0's paired with the Morimoto LED High Beam multi lens projector? The colorful cutoff and table top high beam look just like mine. So I was wondering.
Or you can get complete Morimoto XB projector fog light conversions. A pair costs the equivalent of a single stock fog assembly (stocks assemblies are quite susceptible to breakage) and the bulbs are part of the new assemblies. The XB's have a nice wide usable beam pattern. www.headlightrevolution.com/bmw-e46-e39-led-fog-lights-morimoto-xb-LF-E46_2?quantity=1
This type of bulb is for Country driving not City living... this thing is so bright you will cause an accident from oncoming traffic... this Bob is sufficient if you live up in the mountains or Hills somewhere not in the city they are entirely too bright
I bought the 2.0 a couple of months back. How do the 3.0 compare to the 2.0? I'm tempted to upgrade (again lol) but don't know of the improvements justify the price tag. Have you noticed any difference between the two?
@@HansGarage Very nice & enlightening review! Would you say that this led bulb can illuminate more light down the road then any other incandescent bulb such as the philips racingvision GT200 & osram night breakers? (Specifically in an h11 reflector type of headlight for low beam)?
