Looks great with all those features. Shame the HDMI ports are in the worst place possible!

Yeah it's the worse thing about it. It wouldnt be so bad if they swapped the HDMI's around with the input on the outside.

I own one. Well the Pro one. I like it. Just doesn't match my LCD screen on my Canon C70 as good as others. EVERY monitor company should use the same shade. I took it off and use it on my Atomos. With that battery. You can't have it plugged in on the Viltrox but you can with the Atomos. No more Canon?

Ah cool is the brightness good the pro version? Still have the C70 although its mainly used by my colleague as he does more corporate work in the UK while I'm travelling abroad.

It's 1200 nits to the Atomos's 1000 but I think the Atomos is brighter. Not a fan of punching up the brightness too much on a monitor outside. Very hard to get a good idea of what it really likes like without leaving false color on. @@JonathanPalfrey

Can you preview what you shot? I have tried to find that on this screen and have not had any luck! I have a shoot on Saturday! I think due to the limited of information I can find on this monitor, is good enough reason to return it!

Do you mean playback? That’s just down to the camera output, most can but I know some of weird quirks when it comes to playback over HDMI

@@JonathanPalfrey Thanks, the whole monitor was acting weird. It hurt my gig! Now endless hours trying to repair it! I returned it this morning, but I did figure out how to playback my videos LOL Thanks

I bought it..used it on a job and sold it! prove me wrong, but this monitor shows the image like 1,5stops brighter than it is beeing actually recorded in camera and shooting in log, either using the standard log profile of the monitor or using my own preset that I use on editing, it shows wrong colors that cant be fixed with the monitor settings.

I've found it pretty much spot on with the brightness and colours. I do normally let the camera handle the LUT though rather than the monitor perhaps that's the reason? It might not be interpreting the LUTS correctly.
