I agree that the right and honorable thing to do for everyone that paid Tesla whatever their asking price was at the time for FSD would be for Tesla to upgrade the car's cameras and computers to AI4 or AI5 or whatever will end up being determined is needed in order to achieve true FSD with no human intervention. That would be the right and moral thing to do, based on what Tesla and Elon Musk promised all along about FSD. But since Musk has already said that there will be no upgrades from HW3 to AI4 (or HW4, if you wish) because it would be too complicated and involved and that HW4 hardware takes more room than the HW3 components do and there isn't room for it in the HW3 vehicles. That's highly unfortunate and -- in my opinion -- the wrong thing to do. I would pay to get the AI4 and, eventually, the AI5 upgrades (depending on how much Tesla would charge for it) if Tesla would not do the upgrade for free, But I don't think we'll be offered that opportunity.
