This video helped me acquire a 2016 Camaro SS...This was one of the videos I watched and showed my wife! Helped convince both of us that we could put the kids in the car lol.
Yeah mustangs and camaros are quite good for a small family of 4 but i think a must needed rule for having children is that whoever is the tallest gets the front passenger seat.
I know this is an fairly old vid but I just wanted to post for other dads or moms out there just as curious as I was with my first. Who couldn't find any reliable sources when it came to this situation. I'll start by saying THERE IS HOPE! IT IS VERY POSSIBLE! My son is 1 now. We are currently trying to find a new convertible seat because the newborn carseat is too small. That is why I happened to run across this vid. FYI!! Depending on the carseat you buy you can VERY WELL fit a newborn in the back PERFECTLY! We have a Chicco Key 30 combo(Exact product in link below). We have a 2016 Camaro RS. The car seat fits perfectly compared to others we tried. My wife is leaned a little bit forward and still is able to fit perfectly fine as well as I am. I'm 5'8" and she is 5'1" if that helps. If your wife is on the shorter side it will be alot easier for you. Pretty cramped and although frustrating at times it can still be done. It isnt a struggle installing it. It was quite easy just read the instructions. We use the actual backseat latches(much easier install, wont need to ever remove the base nor have difficulties taking the carseat in and out of the car) instead of the seat belt method. Throughout this entire year I've had no issues, and very little complaints. We have another on the way so unfortunately it will be time to say goodbye to my love here soon. Great video. I have a toddler and have been thinking I need a 4 door. But now I'm okay with having a 2 door. Especially since shes almost to the age to crawl into her seat her self.
i really hate how this car dosent have any room at all in the back, my wife is 5"2 and theres barely room in the back for my 4 yo todler, and my 9 year old has to seat indian style behind me since im 5"11 idk why put seats in the back if is not gonna be useful, i had a 2014 cts coupe and i was able to fit 2 adults in the back with no issues,(except head room) but still way more comftable then the camaro6, the camaro5 had more room, i wish they made this car roomier like the challenger, if im not gonna have room in the back then i rather buy a corvette
We have all recaro products (which I doubt our toddler seat will fit, it's massive) . This was very helpful. One tip tho you need to keep the infant seat with the baby flat.. angled up like that and they could suffocate.
The baby carrier needs to go up and down at the front where its loose that helps mitigate the forces during a crash. Putting the seat belt around it like you did will transfer all the forces to your baby causing internal damage to the baby.
Bro. As soon as I saw my little girl on the monitor I got rid of the SS for a Stinger GT. Who the heck wants to do all that finagling every time they take the kiddo somewhere? Quick release/snap in car seats are a blessing. I can open the back door and have her safely secured in 3 seconds flat. I loved, I mean LOVED my SS(Manual), but it wasn't worth all of this headache, plus the extra risk in an accident. Just my 2 cents.
Why can’t they produce sports cars that are a little more accommodating of car seats. Why do people have to drive ugly cars just because they are parents
I know with a little extra maneuvering it can work out but I feel that when parents have sports cars, other people are always saying stuff like” you need to get a more family friendly car”. That may not always be the case but it seems that way sometimes.
