Yo, the wood elves are cannibals...the hell man, I thought it was like a particular bunch but good grief the entire wood elf/bosmer populace are cannibals. Well good on them, nothing like dining on some fresh nordic meat am I right fellow khajiit?
I try to bring decent lore content that all my viewers can enjoy!If you ever have a suggestion do feel free to leave it, I will jot it down on my list and get around to it eventually I always do!

You're correct, but there's one thing you missed... They can build with wood SO long as it's not wood from Valenwood. Meaning that they can import wood from other provinces and use that to build their buildings.

they can also use fallen wood from valenwood, as long as it fell naturally, but for most of their buildings they use magic to make the wood grow like that

Well in order to get Namira's ring I had to eat a priest...then massacre every other cannibals in the room except the one who can be a follower (offered her as a sacrifice to Boethia) guess this doesnt makes me a cannibal lol

It always annoys me when people leave out the part clarifying that the Green Pact only has to be observed WITHIN the borders of Valenwood. The vegetation and creatures in Valenwood are protected by the Bosmer's sacred pact with Y'ffre, everything outside of that ( i.e. the rest of Tamriel) is free game just like with anyone else. It's probably why the Green Pact doesn't play much of a part with the Bosmer in Skyrim, Oblivion, or Morrowind, because it literally doesn't effect them where they are. In-game lore even explains that Bosmer occasionally import timber from other provinces to build wooden structures (not a lot, but some) because that is outside of the pact. But yes, a game actually set in Valenwood would most definitely be an eye-opener to native Bosmer culture.

The Bosmer follow a religious law called The Meat Mandate. They don't eat fruit, vegetables or grains, they can only eat meat. So they eat dogs, wolves, bears, deer or in the case of a seige, their fellow Bosmer. Sorry if anyone was eating (or has eaten) when they read this comment.

Also, this could answer a question about the Oblivion Crisis. The Bosmer enact the Wild Hunt, kill a shit ton of daedra, and eat the corpses. Other deadra come through and see this, and nope the fuck outa there cause they don't wanna get et.

I think the fact they have to eat it within three days might have something to do with a belief that they shouldn’t kill more than they need to survive due to the whole ‘respect for the natural world’ thing they’ve got going on. My question is: how do they make bows and why are most Wood Elves archers?

The main problem with the green pact is that it makes setting a game in Valenwood difficult. Wanna chop some wood like you can in Skyrim? Can't. Collect plants for alchemy? Can't. Allies/Characters die to a Bosmer? Need to be eaten. Want to build a homestead? Good luck finding an empty patch of land that isn't covered in plant life, and then if you can, good luck getting materials.

That is why it would be a epic game to be about, except the Imperials(Dominion) are invading the land and you can choose to either help them or fight for Elf kind. What would be awesome is it could be setup during the event so there would already be cities dominated by the invaders and many guilds and sketchy trade companies there making money off the deaths of Bosmer.

You don't have to play as a Bosmer, and even if you play as a Bosmer, you don't necessarily have to uphold the Green Pact. If anything, what you just described is a bonus opportunity for some immersive RP. I'd totally play as a Pact-respecting Bosmer. Maybe if you're seen chopping wood by a Bosmer, you'll get attacked. Maybe you can purchase wood from outside Valenwood to build your homestead. It's not against the Pact to harm any plantlife outside Valenwood.

Hyacinthus Yeah but the game is sey in Valenwood. The green pact would affect all since thr Bosmer must protect the forests, and breaking the pact has supernatural consequence.

One Bosmer failing to uphold the Green Pact does not affect all Bosmer. It would affect that individual Bosmer, _assuming_ it would actually affect anyone at all.
